Best WLM Reviews
Quiet but quality little café in Brussels. Just out from city centre with delicious dishes to try.
We had a lovely time here. Very good croquettes, mussels and steak au poivr. Freshly cooked.
One plus for those who drink hot water. They give me hot water and didn’t charge me :P
Wanted somewhere quite local and this restaurant was nearby.
It's quite a small place but friendly and welcoming. We had the mussels and baked cod and they were delicious. The baked cod was flaky and fresh and a was a huge chunk of it served with a bowl of chips on the side.
Prices were reasonable for Brussels.
Local place and atmosphere. Tasty and reasonable price! Totally made our evening great. Good service and warm welcoming!
Far more than expected. Worth a try!
Very good mussels!
Mussels were the best I ever had. But the steak I ordered was probably the worst I ever had. Regardless, Brussels is known for their mussels and not steak so I don't blame them too much. Fries that came with the meal were okay.
This restaurant seems like an off-the-radar place, not entirely sure why..
We had two fish dishes which were very tasty, extremely fresh and filling. I ordered the mussels at first but the owner said that it is not the season and he doesn't recommend it here or in general, and therefore doesn't serve it even though it's on the menu, and I appreciated his honesty.
We ordered the mussels and the steak frites. The steak was a very cheap cut and had a gray color (no pink or red for a medium rare order). The mussels smelled VERY fishy and tasted off. There were also some shells at the bottom that looked like they had gone bad. The manager was kind and removed the charge for the mussels. However I still wouldn’t recommend as the quality of the food was questionable.
