Best WLM Reviews

Enjoyed the evening in this beautiful restaurant in a renovated castle. Every starter is great, especially the rund carpaccio and chianina Ravioli. However, my main food , the brill fish with chestnut purée is a failure, fish is without flavor and sauce is not good, as a main dish purée is too little, after all here is not Italy, not too many guests ordered spaghetti as a second dish then the main course, I guess. And there is very limited choice in here for pastas, not like in Italy. Service is top.
Amazing italian restaurant, the setting/environment is exceptional. The owner is very professional and knows how to treat his guests. The waiters are kind and professional as well. The food is very tasty. Really worth a visit. We will come back here for sure!
Fantastic experience. Great food, friendly staff, nice setting in a a former castle with beautiful gardens. We will be back.
Every time a joy to experience the Cavalieri art of cooking.
Pure tastes, heavenly wines in a superb surrounding.
If you can...go for the terrace.
We recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem in Mortsel, Belgium, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The chef-owner's personalized and friendly service added an extra layer of warmth to the already inviting ambiance.
The cuisine felt like a delightful blend of traditional Italian with unique touches.
The shrimp rissoto and ossobuco were exceptional!!
What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service extended not only to my husband and me but also to our 5-year-old twins. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our little ones felt welcome and catered to—a rarity in establishments of this caliber.
Thank you very much! And you will see us again soon!
I went 2 times, last week first time and great experience as Osso Bucco was fantastic as well as desert. I shared to the owner my favorite grape being Aglianico and by surprise he was from that Region producing that wine so he proposed us great wine.
This week was less impressive because I was advised to take the red mullet and the fish was really poorly cooked , too much and not tasty. Being from see side in Normandy I am a bit more difficult on fish. Furthermore the red wine advised for the fish was far too strong so again a mistake as I was asking something more subtile like wine from Venice area. However fortunately the starter dish was great.
I will give them a last chance next time because the owner is friendly.
My family has been here two times and said it was delicious with a wonderful atmosphere here. However, when I went to this restaurant, the level of quality was below expectations. The staff was very friendly and real Italians and the location is awesome and authentic, the food and service was not so good. The meals were nice but not worth the money. They also give us wine from a bottle which was opened for another table and it took too long for our glasses to be refilled. The non-alcoholic alternatives were also minimalistic and we never got salt or pepper on our table, which was a little weird. The veggie options are also almost non-existent.
Overall: This is a nice place and maybe I went on a bad day, but it is too expensive for what you get here.
Top location, fine italian cuisine, professional staff & excellent wine selection
