I was a patient of this clinic way back in the days when it was run by Dr Hodges. More recently, I was assigned to Dr Kim Williams, who I found to be excellent. I am no longer a patient of this clinic as I moved away, but I would like to take the time to post a review to say that when I was a patient here, I always felt cared for and respected.
Withholding psychiatric medications over pointless policy is dehumanising and a real kick in the teeth to anyone trying to deal with mental health in this country with already pathetic supports.
Come to this medical centre if you want to be degraded into an animal waiting for an appointment to get your perfect vitals recorded for the year, in order to access your psychiatric medication. They will very happily take you off psychiatric medication cold turkey with zero warning because they haven't kept their records up to date, and they can't fit you in for an appointment because they can't staff their practise adequately.
On behalf of all New Zealand, may all your doctors families suffer from the fastest and most aggressive cancers the lord Satan has ever conjured, and suffer ferocioisly the entire time.
Theres a pretty common trend among these comments. Lack of professionalism and care from the receptionist staff - this has happened now on multiple occasions. The doctors also seem relatively untrained in the sense that they literally brush everything off and have no recommendations on how to move forward.
I had searing back/chest/sciatica pain for over a year, they brushed it off, when I eventually waited 18months for a specialist referral, I had to have a discectomy and go into Back surgery, which took another 12 months to heal from

Do not go here unless you literally, have no other option (which shouldn't be the case as there is another doctor across the road :) )
My family has been with the practice for many years. Find Dr Jackson always willing to listen and helpful with the medical issues we have faced
I attended this medical centre for 25 years, but no longer work in the Wellington CBD, so have changed to a local suburban surgery. I have been treated by both Dr Williams and Dr Jackson, and have found both, over many years, to be professional, caring, organised, informative, capable and incredibly pleasant to deal with. They have an excellent team to back them up. It is a small medical centre where everyone gets to know you as an individual.
Been with them for many, many years. I worked on the Terrace and it was very handy. Have stuck with it in retirement. I hear so many stories of people waiting days or weeks for appointments with their doctors. This practice is just great for same day. From doctors through nurses and frontline service this is a practice that works extra well. It's been a rough few years with Covid but PMC has got me through. Respect!
Appalling, 0 integrity and knowledge from the doctors and the rudest customer service I've ever experienced from one receptionist in particular. I would give no stars if that were possible.
Receptionist recommended I travel to Hawkes Bay from Wellington for a doctors visit and wouldn't offer costs of a nurse consult. - Her Attitude was repulsive, insensitive to the matter and unwarranted. I asked for an email to be sent me with costs and she proceeded spelling out the email address of the clinic. Rudely, hung up after 3 and half minutes. (she did not want to be on the phone) so why then is she a receptionist at your clinic? - I don't usually go out of my way for a review but warranted. (21/07/2020)
