I got the mid grade pedicure. Susan was the one that did my feet she did a wonderful job She massage my legs. I enjoyed the experience. A wonderful job thank you susan.
I have been to the priciest nail places in Atlanta, and around the globe. I have now consistently used Nail Star for 10 years since discovering them. They are exceptionally kind, listen to what you want, and even fix your nails when you smudge half of them going out to your car ???? Their mani/pedis last longer than almost anywhere else I've been. They remember their clients no matter how long it takes for you to get back in. They cared for my nails when I was hobbling after surgery. They brought milk candy as a gift for my boss's daughter. They have, very patiently, taught me a little Vietnamese. The fact that they are amazingly reasonable is just the icing on the cake!

Jesus, did I wish I’d read the reviews. But I saw it across the street while I was running errands and thought, “Oh, let me get my nails soaked off while I’m out.” So it didn’t occur to me to check— very big mistake.
I went in and asked if they did SOAK OFFs, because some salons will just use a nail tip and pry your acrylics off your nails and that tends to be very painful for some. They said yes they did, so I waited, then I was seated, and then my tech proceeded to PRY MY NAILS UP with a nail tip.
I told her she was hurting me OVER AND OVER again and asked about soaking off, and she only said sorry or ignored me completely at each remark. I was very upset but also in a huge rush, so I just let her continue. I wish I’d had it in me and had the time to just get up and go somewhere else. I don’t know how many times I told her that she was hurting me before she actually cut me and then tried to obscure my hand from me so I wouldn’t notice. Too bad my finger continued to bleed the entire time I was there, so, sorry but I noticed.
So I spoke up and let her manager know that not only were there still acrylic bits on all of my nails, but that her tech had cut the side of my pinky nail open. Her response was, “No, she didn’t do anything to you.” VERBATIM. I said I was done and I left. That’s literally not all that happened, but there’s no point in me going in more when there are DOZENS of posts exactly like mine on here + my fingers are all literally burning like crazy.
There’s like 4 other nail salons in the area, please Black women, just go elsewhere.
I have been going here for a while now. I've changed a few nail techs only because it is close to my house. The ONLY reason I go here is because Tiffany does a great job on my nails. I was about to walk out one last time when she called me and told me let her take care of me. I'm really glad I did. She's awesome and does a very good job. My nails easily go three weeks and at times longer without a filling.

lady was doing a customers toes WITHOUT GLOVES and starts touching everything she sees JUST NASTY. the pic is how i wanted my nails simple green french and the others are how they came out..
Nail Star is family owned and has a nice environment. They make you feel welcomed as a returning face ????
Lack of customer service. Wait time was long/lack of communication with clients. Possibly short staffed. Prices seem to be different for men versus women. I also question the cleanliness and sanitation methods use.
