I went in there today, with my daughter, trying to speak Flemish, and failing.
The nice lady helped by speaking English.
Payment is only by cash or app (payconiq), which they have a QR code for.
I didn't have Euros and the app didn't like my phone.
Lady explained that it doesn't work if you don't have a Belgian bank account.
She gave me the receipt with her bank account details on. Said to take it away and pay in time.
Very trusting.
I didn't manage to get that working on my phone bank account.
So I went next door and withdrew money.
I came back and paid with geld/cash.
She said, "Thank you for being so honest!"

My daughter and I were happy with the ice cream and latté.

Really poor experience, served "cappuccino" turned out to be just a 3/4th of cup of mediocre liquid consisting of watery coffee with plain milk added (not even foamed). Really disappointing, especially at a premium price.
The waitresses seemed unphased by the presence of customers, minding their own business as they sat at a table in the corner.
It was the last time at this establishment for sure.
Beware also: Cards are not accepted, only payconiq or cash.
The most surprising bad experience in Tervuren. So we come at 17:45 on Friday and want to sit down and the blonde lady is telling us we can not because they are just about to close. We said ok, we'll take an ice cream to go and we asked if we can have the ice cream at the table she said no because at the table.the ice cream has a different price so we stayed at the public bench next to the shop. 2 min after us 2 tables were occupied and she served them. When I went in and asked how come she served them and not us, she said that she did tell us we can stay until 6:30....very rude and very strange style of management. I live in Tervuren and this was the worse client service I've seen. Avoid. Ice cream ok btw. If owner sees this I'm happy to discuss my experience, i live close by. If the blonde lady is the owner...go and take some customer service lessons.
Wait for the service exceeds any patience, not worth it, the lady saw us several times and didn’t come, maybe they don’t like foreigners

Nice place, yummy ice cream. They would stubbornly speak to you in German despite putting the best effort of speaking Dutch ????. Careful about a suggestion if you'd like to be seated, it gets more expensive...
It's a popular coffee shop in downtown Tervuren. A painter, Angela, likes to sit here. She brought me here to get a cup of cappuccino. It's a nice place with spacious sitting areas, inside and outside. You could look at the square from the window. Highly recommended.
