Best WLM Reviews

First time trying Cameroon cuisine and I have to say this place exceeded my expectation. The food comes in huge portions and was very delicious. The grilled chicken wings were great, the grilled lamb was quite chewy but still had great flavor, and their ndole is pretty good though I can see why first timer might not be used to it. Their spicy sauce in particular deserves a special shoutout since it was not only extremely good but also very spicy, way spicier than what an average European could handle. On top of that, the atmosphere is great and prices were more than fair, almost cheap. Finally, you can't really complain about the slow service since it's a small kitchen serving homemade food. Other reviews have pointed out how slow and unattentive the service was which from my experience isn't true. All in all, this is a place I will come back to if I'm visiting Brussels again.
My first time with Cameroonian cuisine, and my French is really bad, but muddled through the menu, and was not disappointed. The food was superb.
I thoroughly recommend the N'dole. I had the chicken with fufu and my friend had the prawn with rice... both fabulous. Other friends had the smoked chicken with mafé (peanut sauce)... equally fabulous.
A great little restaurant, friendly staff, and a buzzing atmosphere.
Excellent Camaronian food in Brussels. The taste is very good and very close to real Camaronian food. Prefer to visit on a warm day and sit outside, inside is a little stinky. Toilets are there for customers use. Staff is friendly. Cooking may take some time so be patient. But when food arrives it's worth it. Highly recommend if you are into African food.
The menu is entirely in french and the proprietor only speaks french so you'll need Google Translate if you're an anglophone but the food is top-notch. We ordered the fish gumbo, 2 leaf stews, plantains, and the boiled cassava, all of which were delicious.
My First time to try camerounisn food. If you like the blend of savory, sweet and Spicey its your place to go. Its a family owned small buisness. Not fance but good. Soulfood Vibes for sure. Recommend
Very nice food. Cameroonian dishes, ndolé was excellent as was the rice and the plantains. Servers polite, but owner a bit rude
My favorite African restaurant for years now!
Go for the Goat meat and their special spicy sauce. Real traditional food with super friendly staff! Price is really reasonable as well.
I’ll go again and again and again! :-)
It is a small restaurant and friendly environment. The service is quick and smiley. The dishes are delicious and authentic. You can have vegetarian, chicken, meat or fish choices. The prices are quite ok compared to taste and size of dishes. I enjoyed all that I tried. No space for kids. Parking can be tricky.
