Quick Facts About L.A. Nails

L.A. Nails has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. Here is a breakdown of these factors:
Strengths: 1. Initial Beautiful Results: One comment mentioned that the technician did a beautiful job initially. This suggests that the salon has the capability to provide aesthetically pleasing nail services. 2. Gel Nail Polish: Some customers appreciated the gel nail polish service, stating that it came out great. This indicates that L.A. Nails offers a variety of options for customers to choose from. 3. Nice Staff: Despite some negative experiences, a few comments praised the friendliness of the staff. This suggests that the salon employs polite and welcoming individuals.
Weaknesses: 1. Overpricing: A recurring complaint is that L.A. Nails is significantly overpriced. Customers mentioned that they paid exorbitant amounts for their services and were dissatisfied with the value for money. 2. Pushy Staff: It was mentioned that one of the technicians, Mai, was pushy in convincing customers to opt for gel nail polish. Pushy sales tactics can create a negative experience for customers. 3. Poor Quality Nail Services: Several comments highlighted issues with the quality of the nail services provided by L.A. Nails. Complaints included nails coming off, chipping and bleeding. These instances indicate a lack of attention to detail and improper application techniques. 4. Rude Staff: Multiple customers mentioned encountering rude staff members during their visits. Rude behavior can significantly impact the overall experience and deter customers from returning. 5. Limited Nail Art Options: One customer mentioned a limitation in nail art options, expressing disappointment that the salon could only do flowers or butterflies and not anime designs. Limited options may hinder the salon's ability to cater to all customer preferences. 6. Inconsistent Treatment: A customer expressed concern about discriminatory treatment experienced by African Americans, stating that they were ignored while other customers were greeted. This indicates a lack of professionalism and fairness in customer interactions. 7. Language Barrier: One comment was made in a different language, suggesting that there may be a language barrier issue at the salon. This can lead to miscommunication and misunderstandings between staff and customers.
In conclusion, while L.A. Nails may have the initial strength of providing aesthetically pleasing results, it is weakened by issues such as overpricing, rude staff, poor quality services, limited options, discriminatory treatment, and potential language barriers. These shortcomings can greatly impact the overall customer experience and reputation of the salon.

She did a beautiful job in the beginning, but see the attached pictures. Not worth the 104.00 I paid for, +the 10.00 tip I gave. Will be asking for my money back. Mai is pushy. Kept asking me to get the gel nail polish Mani and Pedi. I finally did. While it did come out great, But like I said, she a beautiful job in the beginning, but...
They are super over priced. I want French tip and never have I ever not got asked how think I wanted the French tip. They mad the whole fake nail the French tip and I tried bring it three times before they understood that I didn’t want the tip that thick. He than proceeded to get super offended that I did not like them and had to print over the crooked nails that he put on and didn’t fix with gel nail Polish. The other nail tech was doing my cousins nails as a gel manicure and nicked her. When I checked her nails and mentioned it the nail tech said she didn’t do it. Over all the $130 I spent was not worth it at all.
I am a nail technician. I went in for a basic manicure with regular polish. The lady who did my nails was not happy I didn't want the gel polish. I'm going to guess because of the difference in price. I usually do my nails myself. However on Wednesday I decided it would be nice to have someone else do it. Well that was a mistake. The lady must have used a top coat polish as my base coat seeing as the polish chipped the same day. I use regular polish on my hands on a regular basis, with proper application it last me 1 week and a half with out chipping. The only time it chips before that is because I use a blend base coat that's also a top coat. I get not making the money you want to make off a client but not doing a proper job to the point that the nails didn't last 1 day is stupid as now that client won't be going back and will tell everyone of how bad the service was.
I got basic acrylic nails (one solid color), ended up having to spend $84 and my nail tech was absolutely rude and kept talking about a tip and telling me that having coffin shape would cost more, which was fine. I ended up not tipping with how rude she was and when I woke up the next day, they had took it upon themselves to tip themselves so it charged my card $100.80, I advise not going here.
I took my friend's sister here to get her nails done for the first time, the lady that did her full set was very aggressive. After doing her cuticles and getting the full set done, her fingers were bleeding!
The other lady that did mine was nice, but they couldn't do any or refused to do my anime designs, only could do flowers or butterflies.
Went in for 2 fills and 2 polishes for my grandkids. Very unprofessional. Did not follow the sign in sheet. Picks and chooses who to speak to. Watched them greet 2 caucasians and totally ignore the african americans who came after. Ended up cancelling one fill and 2 polishes. Like the nerve. They're in my country. I'm a veteran and am utterly disgusted that people migrate to the USA and then try to treat us like we're undeserving.
I never get my nails done, but my 12 year old wanted acrylic nails for the 1st time so I decided to get a French tip manicure with just regular nail polish. It cost $32 and was so messy and horrible looking. I could have easily done as good as this woman did. My daughters acrylics turned out okay, but are much longer than she wanted. Hers were $69 with gel polish. We will not be getting our nails done at LA nails again!
Definitivamente NUNCA VOLVERÉ A ESTE LUGAR :(
