This place has been INCREDIBLE! I was in a group of 3 for last minute walkin due to our initial appointments elsewhere being forgotten about.
They fit us all in a right away and the service was amazing!
We took this as our sign that we were meant to come here for our mani/pedi needs.
They even have the cutest little helper around the shop!! (daughter of the owners(?) im pretty sure)
I am so happy and pleased with the results, as well as the service and very much look forward to coming back to get my dip refilled and pedi freshened up!
OH! And the ultimate cherry on top is that their prices are SOOOO fair and reasonable!!
Love love LOVE and cannot wait to come back!!
Waited 40 minutes past my appointment time and watched walk ins get taken before me and then when I was finally seen, was seen by a guy who was new and only been working for an hour. He had NO idea what he was doing or where any tools were and kept watching everyone else instead of looking at my nails. He immediately trimmed my acrylics with a NAIL clipper (!) shattering the nail and instead of taking the nail off and fixing it-he just put new acrylic over it. He couldn't shape my nails AT ALL and over filed them until I had to tell him to STOP and that he ruined my nails. Another person (Terry who was very sweet)came over to attempt to fix his mistakes but instead of taking off the nails he just kept filing them AND reshaping his mistake more. The nails came out looking terrible and I was still charged full price. It was awful and terrible customer service. They should have removed my nails and given me the acrylic nails I actually asked for. I never even got an apology for waiting for so long or even having my nails screwed up on. Never again.
I have had hit or miss experiences over the years at Key nails. As with every profession, some techs have a higher skill set than others, while some are more personable. They are all friendly, accommodating, and know the craft well. I find the techs here to be most consistent in their application and painting, in comparison to other local salons. I chalk it up to this; they’re human and they are allowed to have off days. We all do, so overall 8/10 times it’s perfect, with an occasional flub here and there
First off, Since they moved I figured it'd be all nice and new looking. Their furniture and supplies where entirely outdated. The walls where blue with nothing on them. It was like we were in a mental institution getting our nails done ???? The drill and the light nail dryer machine done died! I don't think I've ever had nails look worse in my life! Unfortunately the nail salon I usually go to was booked (for no other reason but that they have great nail techs)!! The lady who did my nails caught my unimpressed vibe entirely and struggled with anxiety through very slowly getting my nails done. She was on and off her phone on top of her noticeably low experience, she had told me to tell her if there was anything wrong with my nails I didn't like! If you have to tell your clients to inform you on weather your nails came out horrible or not, I think it's time for a new career. I didn't like any of it but I wasn't going to chance her taking an other hour to get another set of acrylics that appeared to be done by a kindergartener!! Needless to say she did only charge me $50 and I did give her a $5 tip.. I ussuually give $30 plus on my tips because I know how hard it is being a nail tech.. But I would have done better getting press on nails from dollar tree ???? If I learned anything when going to key nails yesterday.. It's that no matter how bad your nails look, wait for a good nail tech to get them done!!
Terry was very professional and did a superior job on my nails. Very friendly!
This place is the only place I will ever go and Terry is the only one that does my nails perfect I don't even have to watch him he does a perfect job EVERY time.. Sometimes I don't think they get appreciated enough by ppl so they definitely get 10 stars from me thank you Terry ❤ this is his first time doing marble on nails with the dip powder and I couldn't be more happier that they came out amazingly beautiful I give him a million stars and suggest u let him do you're nails ASAP thank u Terry u truly r the best ????????
THANK YOU!!! Our experience here was amazing. We were scrambling after an appointment with another salon fell through. Key nails took us in and called in back up to make sure we were all taken care of. With my wedding coming up this weekend, it was soooo appreciated. My nails look incredible. Truly beautiful! I’m going to keep coming back for sure.
i got my nails done by terri. he is very nice and does exactly what i ask for each time. every time i come here i’m very pleased. very much enjoy coming here
