Quick Facts About Hunt's Traditional Fish and Chips

Hunt's Traditional Fish and Chips has received a lot of positive comments from customers, highlighting its strengths. Firstly, many customers praise the quality of the fish, with one comment stating it is the "best fish in the Lisburn area by a mile." This indicates that Hunt's is known for its high-quality fish, which is likely to be a major strength of the establishment. Another comment mentions that the batter is "perfection," suggesting that the frying technique and batter recipe are strong points for the chippy. Additionally, customers appreciate the well-fried chips and generous portion sizes.
Customers also mention the friendly staff and good customer service at Hunt's. The chippy is described as a "top class local chippy," with "very friendly staff that acknowledge and appreciate your custom." This positive interaction with staff helps create a welcoming and customer-oriented atmosphere, which is likely to be a strength of Hunt's.
Reasonable prices are highlighted by several comments, indicating that Hunt's offers value for money. One customer specifically mentions that the chippy has "good value and great food, freshly prepared." Pricing is an important factor for customers when choosing where to eat, so offering affordable options is a strength for Hunt's.
However, there are a few weaknesses mentioned in the comments that need to be addressed. One customer comments on the difficulty of ordering due to the chippy always being busy. This indicates that the popularity of Hunt's can sometimes result in longer wait times or difficulties placing an order. While being in demand can be seen as a positive indicator, Hunt's should address this issue to ensure a smooth and efficient ordering process for its customers.
Another potential weakness mentioned is the inconsistency in portion sizes. Some customers mention that the portions have gotten smaller over time, and one customer specifically mentions that the portions "won't fill you up." Consistency is key in the food industry, so ensuring that portion sizes are consistent and satisfying should be a priority for Hunt's.
A few negative comments mention that there have been issues with incorrect orders. Customers mention that their orders have been wrong on multiple occasions, with mistakes such as missing condiments or not including specific ingredients requested by the customer. This indicates a potential weakness in the attention to detail and order accuracy of the staff at Hunt's. Addressing this issue and ensuring that orders are prepared correctly each time is crucial to maintaining customer satisfaction.
One customer also mentions that the chippy is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which can be seen as a weakness in terms of convenience and availability. Opening hours should be carefully considered to ensure maximum accessibility for customers.
In conclusion, Hunt's Traditional Fish and Chips has several strengths, including its high-quality fish, delicious batter, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and overall great food. However, it should address weaknesses such as long wait times, inconsistent portion sizes, order accuracy issues, and limited opening hours to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.

Best KBFKR Reviews

Best fish in the lisburn area by a mile. Beautiful food. Good Friday was the busiest day I've ever seen at hunts. Says it all.????
Top class local chippy with very reasonable prices. The food tastes really good and it's all fried fresh. Very friendly staff that acknowledge and appreciate your custom. You can expect a bit of a wait when you go but that's a clear sign of fresh food and customers who rate it highly.
Easily the best around.
Batter is perfection.
Chips fried so well.
Great portion’s.
Will be back soon.
Great chippy. Always quality food. Children's portions are quite large so could share between young children. Really busy on Friday so order ahead if you can.
Can be difficult to order food from as they are always busy! One of the top chippys in Lisburn with a great range of food, that is well cooked. Staff are always friendly, whether you order over the phone or in person! A favourite of mine.
This is an amazing chippy and it’s one of the best in Lisburn 100%, but portions have gotten smaller and smaller boxes. Some of the staff also sometimes seem to be angry or irritated. Can understand the shop is busy though so I wouldn’t blame them.
Edit: I feel I was harsh with my review, have Been back a few times and it is absolutely delicious. Still think portions have gotten smaller, but honestly would say it’s one of the top 5 in Lisburn.
Always get your order wrong whether it be condiments on a burger / not putting salad on burger when asked for etc.
Also the portions of fish (although fresh) are very small and won't fill you up.
Having said that the food is really nice but things like this let itself down as 3/5 times I've been there my order has been messed up.
Update:
Has gone down hill. Closed Mon/Tues. Portions not half what they used to be. Pity. Was once my favourite chippy.
Best chippy in lisburn by far. Good value and great food, freshly prepared. Can be a bit of a queue as food is prepared to order and it's so popular. 5 stars without doubt.
