Best WLM Reviews

Upon arrival we were offered refreshment and a warm greeting. The proprietor was sincere and helpful. The rooms were basic, but clean and tidy. WiFi was free (and I hate it when big hotels charge!). The mattresses were firm, seemed new, and we all enjoyed a good night's sleep. Breakfast was healthy and varied. We opted for the European variant, but could have had a cooked breakfast if we had desired. Good value for money!
I had a one-night stay at hotel De Keizer. The host was friendly and offered a coffee on arrival. Further he advised some restaurants.||The room was spacious enough and had free wifi. Bathroom had enough space. Breakfast had nice daily fresh baked small breads, sufficient meats, cheese, boiled eggs and fresh fruit. ||Free parking is available across the street.||Good value for money.
I booked Anna's Place for my Daughter to stay in April of 2020 then COVID shut everything down and we had paid for the accommodation in full before arriving. The owner of Anna's Place agreed to hold the reservation until my Daughter could make the trip.
I had several conversations by phone with the owner in regards to meals to be supplied in the room as Belgium was still in some kind of lock down and about parking, as my Daughter was traveling with a Horse float.
I found the Owner to be extremely helpful eash time I spoke to him and my Daughter said that the meals they supplied were very nice and good value for money.
She also said that the rooms were clean, well maintained and she would stay there again.
I booked this hotel through Booking.com,On arrival I was met by a bare footed gentleman who booked me in and asked if I required a coffee , During the coffee he spent 15 mins telling me what good value his hotel was. and that I should write a good report. The stairway smelt and looked like it had been painted by a blind person. The room was sparse to say the least. No Soaps gel etc. Cracks in washbasin, stains in shower cubicle. The door looked like it had been kicked it at some point. I booked a double I had to very low very cheap singles. I Ended up sleeping across the bed. Breakfast was shambolic, and when I requested Bacon he picked up two slices from the cold meat board and walked off to the kitchen with them in his hands., Apparently this one guy does everything, Book in, Clean, Cook etc, However he does none very well.
Weird vibe and room. No tea making facilities. Space decoration. It was quiet though earplugs were provided. I asked if there was somewhere I could eat in town that offered vegan options and was directed to the supermarket. The supermarket is right next door, which is great for eating cold food as no means of heating up a decent meal which was disappointing. No headboard on the bed. Only one pillow with a pillowcase. The water ran hot then cold then hot. Internet password didn't work. All in all, it was okay for one night but wouldn't want to stay there again and would have gladly paid a bit more for somewhere nicer.
My colleague from Belgium booked two rooms for 1 night at the Hotel De Keizer as it was close to the jobsite in Waregem. The booking was made through Booking.com.||We arrived at the hotel at 9.00pm but there was no one in the reception area. We followed the instructions of ringing the doorbell but no one appeared.||There was a phone number to call if on one responded but it went straight to voicemail. After leaving a message we decided to get something to eat and return later.||At 9.45pm we returned to the hotel but there was still no one available and still no reply on the phone.||I went upstairs to see if anyone was around and found two bedrooms with the doors open but there was still no one to check us in, or give us a key.||The room was a good size and seemed very nice, and very clean but without anyone to check us in or give us a key we decided to contact Booking.com to explain the situation.||Another hotel was found 6 miles away and it was after 11.00pm when we finally got to our new hotel.||I hope everything was ok with the hotel receptionist but it was a bizarre experience to have an empty hotel with no response from any contact numbers.||Perhaps it is worth phoning up before hand to check if someone is in the building.
One man show, but a very bad one.|Presumptuous man: think he's the best but he never learned to run an hotel.|He asked us to annul are our booking through Booking.com so that he can earn more money.|Dirty room: large size but not cleaned - amateur work have been done recently.|Awful breakfast room with dirty tables. Nothing was ready, no bread, no coffee. |He ask customers to give their breakfast time but at that time he goes to the nearby shop....|Never seen this in 20 years
Arrived here at 12 noon and the door was closed, rang the number on the door and a guy told me that I can only check in between 4 and 5, despite noone told me this when I was booking it. Arriving at 4 I was meet at reception by a man with no shoes, not joking, walking around in soxes. First thing he ask me to do was to pay, now I can see why. The place is very dirty and has a really bad smeal. The other thing that shocked me was that the heating is only working from 4 to 9 in the afternoon....really, in January? Yes. When addresed to the guy with no shoes I was told that he doesn't want a big bill, exactly his words. At booking time the website advertise that they have car park on site, another lie, you.ll have to park across the road in a shop car park. The only thing you get here is dirt, cold, old furniture and tones of attitude from the only staff person they have. Don.t be fooled by the slightly cheap price, is like that with a good reason, avoid.
