Went there for a beer for the good reviews it received and the atmosphere. The gentleman serving seemed almost bothered to stop eating and serve us a beer. Short Poured the 25cl which is small for a beer in the area so that was a negative. He short pour others beers as well. Collected the money on the spot as we sat inside on this quiet morning. So those two things led us to have one beer and find a pub with friendlier service, this was not that place!
This was amazing amazing experience. The staff were nothing but kind and welcoming. No ask or question was too much trouble. Our drinks were spot on and incredible ???? Also the atmosphere was perfect for us, nice and chill and even packed out it was peaceful and not loud at all.

What a quality place this is. A massive variety of Belgian beers on display. The staff are very welcoming and polite and also extremely helpful. The beer is just awesome and there is also a good variety of snacks. The place is very warm and old fashioned, definitely recommend this to anyone visiting ????
Superb Riverside pub, full of character and lots of old (empty) bottles above the bar. A great selection of Belgian beers. Ordered at the bar but brought to the table, as is the norm. Fantastic
This bar is cute, nicely located on the water so good for indoor or outdoor drinks with a a great traditional Belgium beer menu. However, service was awful, struggled to get drinks and pay. The place was full or tourists which is fine but there was no atmosphere when we went.

Certain seats have view of the canal, and there are outdoor seats available as well
Day trip to Ghent and after a river tour and some frites, what better way of relaxing than here. Fantastic pub in a great location, friendly and knowledgeable staff and the beer was amazing too many to choose from, which means we'll definitely be back!!
Lovely spot for a few Belgian beers while in Gent. Loads of options on draft and bottle. Highly recommend when in the area. Also beautiful views of the castle and canal.
