This is a lovely place for a family lunch or dinner, Thursday to Sunday. It’s next to the fantastic playground at Breugelhoeve which is one of our favourite spots in this area. The restaurant also has an indoor play area for children. It’s a short drive from Erperheide CenterParcs and offers much better food than anything on site, for a similar cost. The menu is in Dutch but the owners speak a little English and there’s always google translate. We had an amazing lamb dish, a very good veal steak with Roquefort sauce, and for the kids spaghetti bolognaise, chicken nuggets and sausage and chips. We were served a free starter of cauliflower soup. Kids played table football either side of eating and afterwards we went to the playground cafe which does excellent ice cream. Highly recommended.
Despite the good food we got in a fight with the female personal of this restaurant. My son does not drink anything else as water so I filled up a bottle from the tap. In Asia we get standard FREE tap water in any hotel or restaurant. This service was not given to us in this place.The female staff very rudely came to our table and rudely pulled the bottle away from us. To deny water to a 6 year old child is child abuse. They could have asked friendly but they did not. Water is essential especially in temperatures over 25 degrees C and should not be denied and should be given freely during hot summer months. She started to explain how rude we were to all other guest. Very rude as well of her. The only thing I could do is to defend myself as well so it was not pleasant for the other guests.
Further she wanted to charge us extra for an additional plate. This is the first time EVER in 30 years of traveling a hotel or restaurant want to charge us for this.
Belgium is a french fries country but the fries did not come with mayonnaise. We only receive some after asking but to my surprise they put it as an additional on the bill. Just unbelievable.
A man, apparently the owner, came to us with a basket of free sweeties. I refused.
All together it became the worst experience of our holiday! Thank to this old women.
I will never return to this restaurant again!!
Whilst doing the 23km family bike ride from Centre Parcs and found this beautiful restaurant with excellent food. Excellent place for children with large inside and outside play area.
Kindvriendelijk. Grote veranda waar jonge kinderen kunnen spelen.
Vriendelijke bediening. Voldoende keuze op de kaart. Ook voor de kids. Lekkere suggesties.
Mooie omgeving.
Lekker gegeten. Fijne speelruimte voor de kinderen.
Klantvriendelijkheid en kindvriendelijkheid gecombineerd met lekker eten is een schot in de roos. Alles was netjes verzorgd en onze dochter kon zich uitleven op de grote speeltuin. Eerlijke prijzen en zeer vriendelijke bediening.
Heel lekker lokaal biertje gedronken. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.
Tijdens onze vakantie besloten we om hier te gaan eten en deze keuze was een schot in de roos. We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten!
Het is een gezellig restaurant in een schuur van een boerderij. De bediening is vriendelijk en correct. Er is een grote speelkamer voor de kids waardoor je als ouder lekker uitgebreid kunt tafelen en bij goed weer kunnen de kids ook buiten ravotten in de grote speeltuin die bij het restaurant ligt.
We zijn er nog een tweede keer geweest eten omdat het eten zo goed was en het gezellig was. Echt een aanrader!
