This place is absolutely precious! Had my first experience here and I love the result so much! I was taken care of with kindness and friendliness. I love how detailed Red is when he was cutting my hair. I will come back here for sure!
Not very happy with the experience... he's friendly and a good hairdresser, you can tell he has style, but in my case he wasn't paying attention at all of he was doing. A friend of his came to the saloon and they were talking the whole time while he was cutting my hair. I felt like he was paying more attention to the conversation than to me and, as a result, I didn't get the haircut I expected. I asked for a mullet with faded sideburns and sides, and he cut all the back super short, so bye mullet, and I couldn't see any fade. I'm sorry but it felt really unprofessional and disappointing.
Very satisfied with the cut and balayage. Red was friendly and courteous (but not annoyingly chatty, which I greatly appreciate). Calm and relaxing place. I also like that everything is done by the owner (I am fed up with big bustling salons where staff always changes). Finally, my 3 year old had a great first haircut in this place. I will be back for sure.
I've been twice to this hairdresser a few years apart and the experience has been the same.
It's a nice space and what is great during COVID is that it doesn't get too crowded - at least it did not when I was there early in the morning. Red is also very nice and friendly.
However, I did not think the haircut and styling were up to expectations - I personally did not like the cutting technique, the excessive use of hairspray, hairdryer and hair straighteners. I have fine hair, which was full of static after so much unnecessary drying at high temperature.
Red's assistant is also very inexperienced and it is clear he doesn't master the basics of washing and drying hair., so I felt should have been more closely supervised.
We go there for years, this is not a regular hairdresser, this is a top class hair styling with ambient music, classy, shabby chique interior. Red and alll the staff is giving you the very best experience overall, real genlemen and women. Briefly, I would not change a thing. Keep up with the good work.
Possibly the best hairdresser I've been to. I had the owner of the shop cut my hair and he did an amazing job. At last, someone that is passionate about their job, unlike most hairdressers. Or like he phrased it himself, "I'm not working, I'm having fun". He regularly takes courses still to keep up with new trends and methods. I felt like he really got me and what I was after, and gave it his own personal touch, which turned out very cool. Also, a very reasonable price.
I'll be back here.
A very nice place. I arrived early and the place has a nice waiting room. Staff is friendly and also speak English.
