Didn’t realise until I got home just been charged £12.40 for I bag of chips and 2 fish cakes?
Didn’t help they nearly short changed me by £5. When we unwrapped them it was a small portion of soggy chips that looked like they had been sat around for a hour, the fish cakes were a fair size but also looked like they had been sat all day in the warmer. The batter was like rubber! Was a great chippy but gone massively down hill. If I lived closer I’d have taken them back, won’t be going back there again!
Whenever I'm at my parents house, Doyles is a staple. Good choice of foodstuff. Nuggets for the non-loving (weirdo) fish & chips son or a battered sausage. The ladies are very chatty and pleasant. Cash only though, but not a problem. See you next time.

Lovely. Always have fish and fishcake plus a sausage for my dog ???? - a chihuahua - very well cooked in best dripping and served hot, wrapped well, staff always polite and helpful, nice batter and good quality fish, doggie wolfs down his sausage, happy to recommend this fish and chip shop.
