I give one star only for the ribs with garlic(i recommend them),but my last 2 orders wasn't what I was required, wrong sauce and missing chicken from the rice...I deeply regret that are not the previous owners anymore (thanks to them I started to eat frog legs but because of new owners,I stop eating it).is not anymore the restaurant that used to be,unfortunately
I ate here for the first time, but not the last! Huge portions, fast and kind service, thank you very much! I will come here again for sure!! if I could, I would give double stars to anyone who can and wants to eat Chinese, just come here!
Long history with Nice interior design, not for Chinese to taste the original favor, but good for ppl to try Chinese food here.everything is salty, and salty.
Tips:need to pay extra for the rice or anything come with your dishes.
And the starter fried prawn cracker is one kind of chips.
Food is good. Portion sizes are huge. Staff are friendly.
We stumbled upon this place as a group of 8 students. Turns out, it's the first Chinese restaurant in Antwerp and all the locals go there. Talked to a lovely Belgian family about it.
The place looks really cool, well decorated.✌️
Service is on point, very friendly and warm people????
And the food, the food was really great, big portions, alot to choose from. Reccomend trying any fried pork????
The food there is super delicious (at least for what we tried) and the price is very reasonable, really worth it. The boss and his wife are also very nice and friendly, we went there actually almost at their kitchen closing time, we can definetely tell from their face that they were already very tired, but still they gave super proper food suggestions and cooked delicious food for us (really appreciate it), and talked with us very friendly and patiently just like old friends. So, if you have no idea what to eat, just ask, you will absolutely get nice suggestions. The lady boss is very cute, and the boss is very humorous. BTW, if you are spicy-lover, do not miss the nice chili sauce the boss created by himself adding with various shellfish and shrimps. We all feel that it is a pity that the boss does not have more time to develop the secret chili sauce as a business seperately and expand the production of chili sauce, then we could eat it even at home. All together, that was one of the most nice dinner experinence we have ever had here. May the bosses experience continuous prosperity in their business endeavors, and may each day be filled with happiness and joy!
This is delicious Chinese food restaurant in Antwerpen. Good price, good food quality, and no long waiting time.
The taste and price are the best combination to attract you into this restaurant. Highly recommended.
Went here for the first time to check out this legendary chinese restaurant, the oldest one in Antwerp, since 1923.
Sadly enough we learned once seated from other customers that the old owners stopped 2 weeks ago and that the restaurant is under new management.
What we experienced was nothing less than a disaster. We arrived at 19:00, ordered at 19:10. At 19:45 we still didn’t get any food. After asking when the food was coming we received our soup at 19:50. At 20:10 I told them that we ordered an hour ago and that if the food was not on our table in the next 5 minutes we would just want the bill for the drinks and soup and leave. At 20:13 we got a starter (chickensate) and at 20:20 our main dishes. Next to the very very very slow service the food was also quite tasteless.
There were maybe 10 tables occupied in the restaurant. Another table left after 45 minutes of not receiving anything after they ordered, the table next to us was also very unhappy (they came to the restaurant every 2 weeks since 1965) and a take out customer was also complaining.
It’s a real shame to see an established/legendary business going down like this but I’m afraid they will not stay in business long.
Needless to say: to avoid!
