This was a DoorDash order. Can’t comment on service or atmosphere aside from the fact that they make unauthorized substitutions. I order fried chicken livers near their closing time. When received the color was off, too pale. When I tried to eat them the texture was way off. Checked them out and found the livers to be almost red. I fed them to the dogs, they don’t mind eating raw meat.
My first orders from this store were great but things have have gone slowly downhill. After reading other complaints, I don’t think contacting the store will make a difference and DoorDash has refused to post my review.
Wow! AMAZING FOOD! One of the best places to go for great wings! They have amazing wing flavors and everything is cooked to order! The fried chicken is amazing as well Cooked perfectly and the collards were good, the yams were AWESOME! The Mac and cheese is good as well. I have not been disappointed and they make these really good kool aids which changes daily I think. I love the strawberry lemonade and cherry limeade! Very good! I also love the bread pudding Sooooooooo good! Service is impeccable!!!!!! They have always treated me respectfully and I appreciate that. My family and I will continue to support!!
First time coming here. Tastes so good!! I usually hate fried food (from fast food places) but her batter is literally PERFECT. The 2pc. combo came with two sides, a drink & corn bread. I got an extra side, total was $20!!
OMGoodness, first time ordering from here, amazing y'all! Got some Nachos with chicken tenders, oh the flavor! Wonderful thick homemade chips!! Amazing chicken tenders!! Oh yeah! Also got bread pudding with raisins yummy yummy! Will definitely be ordering from here again! (Got mine through door dash!)
We called ahead as this location is pickup only. Which is why I gave 2 stars on atmosphere. The front door was locked. We had to call when we were outside and then also paid for our meal in the doorway of the business. Granted, it doesn't seem that they're located in the safest neighborhood so it all kinda made sense but it was different, nonetheless.
We ordered a 3 piece fried chicken combo with two sides and a drink. Sides were mac & chz and yams. Also ordered 4 fried fish combo with one side and a drink. Side was mac & chz. Ordered all four desserts available: red velvet cake, bread pudding, peach cobbler, and lemon cake.
The fried fish and fried chicken were really good. Friend fresh and hot even after a twenty minute drive home. The mac & chz was good but quite was pictured. The yams were, without a doubt, canned yams.
The desserts. Ugh. The desserts all came from the bakery section of Walmart. And I don't know how to feel about that. Had I known, I wouldn't have purchased any of them.
Overall, we gave the meal 6/10 not sure if it was worth the $50. But we supported a local business.
Very rude to both customers and delivery drivers alike. I came here on two separate occasions, weeks apart. Once for third party delivery service, another to try for myself. Both times I was met with blatant disrespect and ornery staff. It’s as if they’re upset that you’re trying to give them money. Bad business. Don’t open a store if you don’t want to serve people with respect.
We decided to give Chelle's a try on our way back home. We ordered a Deluxe Seafood plate and Chicken Liver Plate. The Seafood plate was good but unfortunately the Liver plate wasn't fried long enough. They're were still some raw spots. But the little bit I did taste was good. I'll just stick them in the air fryer when I get home. Oh, and those Collard Greens were very good. I usually only eat Mustards. We'll be sure to come back when we're in Pensacola again. Thanks for your warm hospitality.
I rarely leave reviews but the hot honey lemon wings were just too dang good to not share to the world. I will admit that I was at first a little salty that I didn't get ranch delivered with the wings but as soon as I took one bite, I was forget what ranch was. They were amazing..From the flavor, price, the quality of the wing, and the perfect crispy coating. Best wings I've had in a very long time.
I also had a side of Mac n cheese which was delicious too :)
