We had an excellent meal at Chef Frank's! The service was friendly and attentive and the sushi was top tier. We highly recommend the spicy edamame and the super star roll (melt in your mouth salmon belly)!
My family and I have been here several times since they have opened here in natomas, and each time is a 10/10. We enjoy the food and atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable and the chefs behind the bar are friendly and educational about the rolls. The restaurant itself is clean and you can always count on the food being fresh!

1st Review..Welcome to Natomas, Chef Frank, Japanese cuisine.
We came in for lunch today. After a little spa day with the wife. A warm welcome as we entered and were seated promptly. Cool restaurant, modern minimalist. Real nice sushi bar. We order spicy garlic edamame, mixed Tempura. The Tempura was very good. Crispy, light, and not from Sysco foods. Our two sushi rolls were excellent,we ordered the Landpark, and Dragon Rolls.
I urge you to go and try this new location in Natomas. You can find them on Google Maps but no website.....

What a great experience! Tried the 15 course omakase for the first time with a big group and it was the the best sushi in Sacramento! Everything tasted delicious and fresh!
Chef Frank, Cody, and the rest of the staff provided top tier service and know how to treat their customers. I would definitely come here again!
Wow, what a great experience in our own backyard! This place came up as an ad on IG. I called and they had 2 spots for omikase. My husband and I went and oh everything was so good! The service, top notch, very attentive, generous, sake bombs with the chefs, everything was so fresh. Will be coming regularly here, have found our new sushi spot, thank you Chef Tim and Chef Frank and team!
Tried this place for the first time. I think the food was great! We don't usually eat sushi in natomas because most places don't have good sushi. I was quite impressed. I would definitely go again to try the rest of the items. The lion king is seared, and it was delicious. Next time, I would ask for it to be more cooked because my kids love it most. Unagi nigiri was bomb. The Hokkaido roll was great as well. I didn't care too much for the batter for the shrimp tempura, it seemed a little too thick, but my kids enjoyed it.
The lunch bento box is excellent. I've got salmon sashimi and tempura. Salmon is very fresh and tempura is very hot and crispy. The salad is also fresh and tasty. I've got matcha pana cota for dessert - it is heaven. I love this place
Best sushi in sacramento. Better than Kru.
I’ll preface this review by saying sushi is my favorite food and I’ve been to well over 100 sushi restaurants in the past.
Going to Chef Frank is a bit of a double edged sword.
On one side is incredible quality sushi and amazingly fast service (we had a rainbow roll on the table within 5 minute of ordering it.
On the other side is the realization that 99% of the other sushi restaurants in the area can’t begin to compete with Frank. The stark reminder of the vast difference between quality of mediocre (or even decent) sushi in Sacramento and the amazing sushi fish that you get at Chef Frank is almost depressing.
