This place was so great that we visited it 2x on our trip to Sedona, AZ. Once on our way into AZ and once on our way home.
Very friendly people! Great prices! Lots of artisan made crafts and jewelry!
Don't forget to check out the awesome selection of petrified wood and glass behind the store.
Oh! I almost forgot! Definitely come with an appetite. They have a Fry Bread stand right next to the store. The lady taking orders was very nice! We love the Navajo people!!!
We stopped by on our way home and chees store was awesome the lady I believe Victoria is her name was so very kind and showed us around she also helped us find gifts for the family and ourselves. She was very informative and helpful. We would not have got as much as we did. Had it not been for her. I highly recommend this place for gifts and much more if you are ever in the area. I hope I got her name right. Please forgive if I did not .. love this beautiful store. Love the hand made Navajo jewelry being made right there. ????
SUPPORT CHEE'S! They are super friendly and have lots of beautiful handmade gifts. Had a good time chatting with the ladies behind the counter. (On a side note, when I went next door to Indian City, no one approached or talked to me)
Friendly, family run local Native establishment. Everything was authentic and made by locals from their communities. Loved how friendly and comfortable you feel as soon as you walk through the doors.

The Fry Bread is delicious! They had beautiful souvenir's and friendly service, even us customers were awesome, we were holding some great conversations while waiting on our orders.

If I could give this place no stars, it would certainly be an understatement. When I thought to stop and support an Small business as I'm a small business owner myself and value the importance of uplifting my community and being outside of my hometown of Georiga with my family, we stopped into what was a nice looking store on the inside but a rude clerk that didn't seem to even acknowledge us being customers which wasn't even the disappointing part. After leaving the store, my 14 year old daughter came out of the store with tears in her eyes as I thought she was paying for her items. The clerk came from the back of the store with a fake 20 dollar bill asking her if she had show money in which she probably never heard of the term before in her lifetime. I have raised my children to be honest and to respect everyone they encounter. However, why would u have to go to the back of the store to confirm with someone else if it was a fadulant bill. (Why wouldn't you call them to the front of the store to verify this) Anyways, this was her birthday trip to the grand Canyon, and I know this will probably be one of her worst memories of the trip. Just be careful, is all I can say. Everyone isn't honest, sadly to say
