Was seated immediately but it took quite a while for someone to come to our table. The restaurant barely had anyone there. Food was ok. My plate looked great. I ordered the white fish platter with green beans and a loaded baked potato. The fish was nice and crispy but really didn’t have any seasoning. The greens beans were seasoned perfectly but they were too crunchy. My loaded potato was good but not enough of the toppings. The croissants were great! Our server was nice. The ambience was really nice as well. It was nice and relaxing but the service could’ve been faster considering there were employees just standing around.
Its been years that I have eaten in cheddars and let me say I had the best experience here thanks to Tia our waitress what a joy she was. The food was amazing including the complimentary croissant was melting happiness-in your mouth????????. If you like a-lot of great affordable food this place is a must visit. One of the best places if you like home made soul food like granny used to make it.
Love this place, it's beautiful inside, the attention is very good and the food uff, very Delicious! , I ordered some ribs (they were giants we couldn't with everything) and a chicken with sauce Dijon. The entrances were some fries with cheddar and bacon cheese.
Food was pretty good. Those croissants are ridiculous!!! Cheese curds were yummy, spinach dip was kinda dry and chips were all broken little pieces under the top layer. Broccoli casserole was my fav, chicken tenders and shrimp were good, fries weren’t great. Service was meh, no sauces were brought with food even though we asked for everything when ordering, had to wait a bit to get it. Always had to flag the waitress down to get drink refills or anything.
The service is wonderful and the food is delicious. We go every Sunday for lunch and it never disappoints me.
Finally, a Cheddar's! The Northwest doesn't have a location near us, and I am so grateful that we got a chance to visit the Tampa location.
Amy was our waiter, and not only was she phenomenal but also very thoughtful. Our drinks were always full, our orders came out exact, and Amy took the time to be personable and make a connection with our group. Our entire family from Idaho, Washington, and Florida gathered, and we loved Amy's energy, fast service, and attentiveness.
My favorite is the Buffalo chicken wraps with ranch. Portions are plentiful and cooked fresh. Dishes are delicious all around. Other members in our group ordered country fried chicken, the Monte Cristo sandwich, and chicken tenders. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the honey butter croissants were amazing as usual!

My waitress was excellent. She was attentive without being intrusive & was friendly without being overbearing.
The food was great.
We waited almost 5 minutes to be acknowledged by server. I had to hit the call server button. Then, when she came we gave drink and food order. We waited a good 10 minutes. Then, the table behind us received their croissants even though they came in at least 10 minutes after us. So, I hit call server button again to ask about our croissants. She told us we are all waiting on croissants. So my husband mentioned the tables around us receiving them and all of sudden in a few minutes they were brougt to us. They weren't hot so I knew they were not just out the oven so I believe she just forgot about us. At least 30 minutes goes by and she comes back to verify our sides ordered to say our sides got messed up. I asked so our food hasn't been cooked at all. She claimed that everything else was cooked. She did offer us salads. The only reason, we didn't leave is because my husband wanted to wait. About 20 minutes later, we finally got our food. My husband ordered ribs and fried shrimp with mashed potatoes and French fries. He enjoyed it. Mine on the other hand wasn't prepared with as much care. I was already irritated with the server and her lack of service and care. Key West Chicken and Shrimp with corn and mashed potatoes. Chicken and shrimp were overcooked. We won't be returning.
