Stopped in for lunch on 3/30 & sat at the bar. Lauren offered excellent service, held a conversation with us, friendly & quick. We ordered the chips & queso and honey butter croissants for an appetizer. Both were great. For our meal we ordered the Monte Cristo & the Vegetable Plate. Food was delicious and well prepared.
Delicious food and excellent service!!! You must try the Honey butter croissants, the Wisconsin cheese bites, the Grilled salmon and the Baby back ribs!!! and for dessert Cake sundae and Carrot cake!
My son and I went for what we thought would be a quick lunch. We were seated in a booth in the bar area. The bartender was our waitress. It was memorial Day and we immediately got the impression she didn't want to be there and didn't want to wait on us. It took her 10 minutes before she approached our table. My son ordered the fish and chips lunch special and I had the veggie sub with fries. It took her 45 minutes to bring out our order and the fries were cold and soggy, like they had been sitting for a while. She went and put in an order for hot fries. We got them after we had finished our food. We ordered a piece of carrot cake to split and it took her another 20 minutes to bring that out. We got to the restaurant at 2pm and left around 4pm. We love cheddar's and have never had an experience like this. The waitresses attitude and how long our "quick" lunch took really left us feeling like we don't want to go back.
The full rack of ribs have changed from the last time I went here for ribs. I used to tell people that this was the place for fall off the bone ribs. Not anymore. The ribs were greasy and lacked BBQ sauce. Only the top portion of the ribs were rubbed and the smoke flavor was too much. Way too much fat on the ribs. Had to use a steak knife to cut between the ribs. Should be pull apart or butter knife separation ribs.
This is not that place anymore.
Everything was great! I received really good service. And my new Orleans pasta was so good I'm probably going back tomorrow ????
We’ve never been here as they don’t have them in MI. Place was so busy when we went Sunday afternoon around 1:30. They were able to seat us right away. Service was excellent as the waitress was on it and brought refills before our cups were empty. Food was good (except I didn’t care for the green beans) and it didn’t take long them to bring it out. Love that you can pay your bill right at the table and not have to wait for a check to be brought out. I had steak and hubby had ribs and chicken tenders.
Quality food, service and clean. I had the shrimp Alfredo out of this world. My associate had the chicken meal. We were in town for business at the Sanford Airport Airshow.
Great place to dine. We will be back next year for sure.

I ordered takeout this time, but the food was packaged well, conserved heat wonderfully and everything was delicious when I got home.
I have been there to dine and sit barside as well, and every time the customer service has been on point and inviting. The low lighting makes it feel comfortable and a bit cozy, so be careful after you eat because you could start getting a little sleepy, in a food coma.
