Great food , huge portions excellent service , great prices .Wish the chain was in Canada as well
We got here at 5pm today excited to try this place for the first time ever. Our waitress was nice but the entire staff seemed so stressed out and on edge. The booth we sat in faced part of the kitchen and we watched MULTIPLE waiters & waitresses grab croissants with their bare hands!! Only 1 lady used a pair of tongs! We even watched one lady rub her nose on her hand then grab one!! We felt so sick watching it! Then our food doesn’t come out until 6:10pm!!! We waited over an HOUR for our food. My husband kept insisting we leave but Our waitress kept coming up and trying to be kind “the kitchens so busy your just a few more tickets behind” “the kitchen is working hard guys not much longer” & I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but the food was not worth the wait and after witnessing how they handled food with their bare hands I’m not sure how clean they are in the actual kitchen. I know we should “assume” that their hands are clean but when you handle people’s glasses & plates all day and literally wipe your nose , scratch your head or do god knows whatever else I do not think you should be handling food with your bare hands.. I doubt we will be back we were not impressed at all. I did not finish my food.
Everything was perfect. Our server Desseraye was very attentive and sweet. The food came out in big portions. Absolutely delicious too. The lemonade and tea at this place is top notch. We don’t have any complaints. We had steaks, cesar salads, appetizer of buffalo beer battered shrimp. If you can’t choose sides the red beans and rice are amazing!
The steamed broccoli was the most tender I have ever had. Ditto for the grilled lemon pepper whitefish.
After we were sat, it took a bit for the waitress to come around to take our drink order. It did not seem that busy but she may have been. She did a fly by and dropped off some Honey Butter Croissants… that alone deserves an extra star…
I ordered the Cheese Curds appetizer. They were quite tasty. The ranch it was served with had a little bite. Not bad but I think a marinara sauce would have complimented them better.
For my entree, I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger… medium. It was delicious. Big ole thick slab of minced meat cooked to perfection with lettuce, tomatoes, onion and or course, bacon. Almost could not finish it.
My buddy got the Monte Cristo. He thought they where very good.
Would definitely return.
I had the Monte Cristo and it was amazing! The server was on point!! We will be back
I usually order the bacon cheeseburger and fries for pick up. It tastes just like the quality I remember from years ago. Flame broiled and very thick and tasty. $13 or so for the meal without a drink. Compare to any drive through these days, and there is NO comparison in the quality of food.
We were very happy that they had a gluten sensitive menu. Our waitress was kind and attentive. Food was cooked well and tasty.
We went a early so we avoided the dinner rush.
