Chain eatery serving fast-food classics like burgers, hot dogs, french fries and shakes. I especially love their 'Big Buford' it's made with two large hand-seasoned, 100% beef hamburger patties, topped with two slices of melted American cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion, dill pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise all on a toasted bakery-style bun. The fries and chicken nuggets have awesome seasoning while the staff seems fairly confused while coordinating the orders in sequence. We will try them again.
Came out to Florida for vacation and checkers will be my first recommended drive thru place. Thank you Maria for giving me such a welcoming experience. She had such a amazing and positive attitude. She definitely deserves a blessing like a paid vacation or a raise. ????
Locked doors during operating hours with no signs. The sourdough melts buns had the texture of stale cornbread instead of a crispy fried bun like you’d expect. I don’t think it was sourdough. Absolutely the grossest burger I’ve ever had. They make you walk up to the drive thru window after you walk around for 5 minutes wondering why the doors are all locked, and the only reason the absent employees knew I was walking back to my car was because a few of the customers who were somehow inside told them someone was trying to get in.
I hadn't come to this location for months even though it's in the neighborhood where I work. I decided to go for lunch recently. I ordered.for 2 people and tried to order my favorite desert, the brookie, but they don't have it anymore. Instead I was pleasantly surprised with the new additions. I ordered a hot fudge sundae of sorts that is new and as I was going to the window to pay out of my eye I see funnel cake fries. I of course asked for it as I was paying. The employee at the drive through was Maria I believe. She was very sweet and totally accommodating of my request. When my Sundays came out I was greeted with the person I believe who made them. Unfortunately they were caramel instead of chocolate. I felt bad to ask for her to make them again but she also was so accommodating and came out with the most beautiful Sundays I've ever seen. I wanted to take pictures. She then apologized thoroughly for the mistake of which I totally thanked her for her service and just all around great customer service and just good attitude and promptness in getting my order correct. She respected my time. I don't normally go out of my way to do this but they were great. And because of them and the new additions to the menu, I'll be returning soon. In closing I hope that these women are in some way recognized for their stellar customer service, but for just first being decent human beings with respect and obvious pride in their work. I commend them on the hiring and I want to say thank you again Maria and Lorie. I'll see you soon ???????? ????????????
Worst service here. Was charged wrong and they seemed annoyed to fix my order and give me the money back that was wrongly charged. I’m assuming it was the manager there, rudely gave me my money back with an angry miserable face. Ordered 2 tenders combo, everything was done but one fries waited forever for that. So I had one cold and one hot fry. And on top of that the cold fries was filled up half way. I also had to ask what I was waiting for instead of communicating what was going on. They need new workers, I’ve experienced this twice, will probably not be coming back.
I went through the drive thru, the staff was friendly enough I guess and was helpful enough I guess... It's everything that I really wanted to get they were completely out of, it was very disappointing to say the least.
Absolutely amazing fries, however I don't think you can eat inside, the service isn't the best as there aren't many employees there. It's just a nice drive through if you want to grab some nice hot fries and a burger, I recommend for the Food.
What can you say about the atmosphere of checkers. They are picking up where steak n shake left off. Black n white check building....but the food, it's good tasting and fast and the bacon melts in your mouth . I'd, do it....again anytime
