I stopped by here for an early breakfast before a doctor's appointment. I was absolutely surprised by how amazing this place is. Firstly the interior is BEAUTIFUL and well decorated/maintained. The owner, Charlotte, is very welcoming and helpful. Another thing that I really enjoyed about this place is that almost all of the patrons knew each other and were chatting. It very much so had a "Cheers" type vibe. Newcomers like myself and a large family were also welcomed and treated very well by the staff and regulars. I mean that literally everyone is welcomed here.
Now onto the food. I had the buffet and it did not disappoint. The food was terrific, especially the french toast sticks and the biscuits with tomato gravy. The chef also brought me a cat head biscuit to try and it was delightful. I had some of everything off the buffet and it really hit the spot.
The restrooms are all very clean and well maintained.
I can't wait to return here and order something off the menu.
Just wanted to thank Charlotte and her husband what beautiful people I had a headache and stopped in for a coffee they took time out to talk to me the restaurant is clean and beautiful and everyone was just so nice I wish other restaurants would treat there costumes that way thank you again God bless you all ????
This restaurant is a very down home place! I can remember when my aunt owned it and miss charlotte has just continued the amazing job! I love this place and I recommend it to everyone who want good friendly family meals of the south!!!!
The best dressing,turnips,and chicken and dumplings I have found in Dothan . Nurse at hospital said cd's down the street had country cooking like zacs in slocomb . No the real food is at charlottes . My first time here but not my last !
First time ever dining here and I have to say in my opinion it's the best restraunt in dothan by far highly recommend.
When you feel like some of that ole southern, at home cooking & atmosphere; come to Charlotte’s! See for yourself. My compliments, from one cook to another! They are all hard working people!
I love eating at Charlotte's. Tastes like my Gramdmama's and like being at home. The staff treat you like family. Everything Charlotte cooks is good and full of flavor. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed
Great place to eat and great owners! Also it is typically very quick to dine and get out for lunch breaks.
