Great spot to have a bite near the Wynn sports book. It's pretty much connected to the sports book and have TV's that you can ask them to show anything you want to watch. Been here a few times and food and drinks I had were really good. My favorite was the Meatball Hero sandwich and the fries are crinkle cut and crispy. Good to have a spot in the restaurant to get regular burger, wings, sandwiches.
AMBIENCE: Busy & lively is what I'd describe the vibe at this spot. You can both watch a game & people watch too. I can imagine this place gets packed on bigger games.
FOOD: The turkey club was pretty good & the fries were cooked to perfection! No complaints on that end.
OVERALL: The service sucked. Once seated it took so long that I had to flag someone down to be able to order. The first waitress looked annoyed at having to take my order. The second waitress was a little nicer. But it seems that either short staffing or the employees hate working there is the reason for the poor service lol
I really like this dining option in the hotel since the food is decent but it’s nice and casual where you can follow the sport on the many screens and relax with friends. The major problem is the service though, which while friendly is just ridiculously slow. Drinks take an unacceptable amount of time to arrive to the point of putting you off ordering more, and on occasions getting the attention of the waiter wasn’t easy either.
The menu has a good range of options and the prices reasonable for the location. The burger was a good size and really tasty, with the crinkle fries being super delicious!
Overall a decent spot if you can put up with the excessive wait times for drinks.
This is a nice spot to grab a quick bite if you are staying or gambling in the Wynn in Vegas. They serve upscale bar food and have a beer and cocktail menu. I ordered the pretzel and beer cheese appetizer and the Charlie's Burger and both were great. The pretzel was huge and came with beer cheese and a separate ground mustard sauce. The burger had a special sauce which I am assuming is some kind of mayo based sauce, but was still good. I ordered a beer flight for $20 that came with four 5oz pours. The waiter was very friendly and provided great service. The hostess was ok, but didn't seem that welcoming when we asked for a table. Overall a nice place to watch sports while visiting the Wynn.
Great visit to Charlie’s for an early dinner. The Turkey Club arrived hot with generous amounts of moist, hot turkey. Lots of fresh Avocado. Tomato slices were uniform and flavorful. Cheese and bread were toasted just right. Fries were perfect (there are a few ‘missing’ in the image provided). The Cobb salad had generous amounts of chicken, bacon, Avocado and Tomato. The Lettuce was fresh and uniformly chopped. The dressing was unique and made the salad most enjoyable (served in the side, as ordered).
As we walked in there were just a few patrons seated at the tables. We were welcomed by the hostess and the manager with a sincere greeting. Our server was attentive and responsive throughout our visit, even as the tables around us began to fill with other guests. As we waited for our meal, we watched as the manager helped other servers promptly deliver orders to tables in the restaurant. To us, this is real evidence of a genuine interest in the satisfaction of the customers - a hallmark of service at the Encore / Wynn properties.
The television screens in the restaurant area were all tuned to football. However, the projection screens in the sports book were large enough to allow us to easily watch a baseball game in progress. There seems to be something for everyone in the restaurant and sports book.
The only minor disappointment during our visit was the draft beers ordered during our dinner - ‘Singing Frog’ and ‘Kona Wave.’ Both had (in my opinion) strong Hops flavor. Since little information was presented on the menu regarding the beer selection, didn’t know what to expect with these two beers. However, both were served cold and were enjoyable nonetheless.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
The Detroit-"style" pizza looked really tasty but was disappointing. The crust had no flavor and the pepperoni was burnt. A much plainer sauce would have been better to taste the tomato. Does not need the extra shaved parm either. Keep it simple! Ho-hum. Do I try again?
Next to the Wynn Sportsbook, this casual dining place is catered to sports fans, although you don't need to be one. The wait is ridiculously long, even with many empty clean tables. This is my major gripe. Food is typical of sports bars. Service is long too, even when they are not busy. I've eaten here a few times, and it doesn't change with the slow long waits. If you got nothing but time to waste, then come here for some halfway decent food
Really great burgers and fries. We tried Charlie's a few years back, but went healthy that time..so we knew next time we visited, we were going all out lol. It definitely did not disappoint. We both ordered The Charlie burger with fries and it was so good. Patty's were extremely juicy and flavorful. The bun was lightly toasted to perfection and add in the special sauce and chopped lettuce and that all adds up to a really great burger. Our server Virginia took really great care of us. Even though the food took a bit longer than normal to come out, she made it right by adjusting our bill which made the experience awesome. Thank you Virginia and team for a great dinner!
