Stopped in the newly renovated Charlie's Off Main for lunch today and had a great experience. Ordered the 1/2 pound burger cooked perfectly at Medium with well cooked crinkle fries. Victoria took care of us very well. The place looks a lot better. New carpet, new booths, new menus and design- a lot cleaner look! It's a great spot, spread the word!

THIS is what a bar/pub should look like. In town for weekend, Google found me breakfast 4 min walk from motel. Staff was friendly, inviting and the place is fantastic! Going back tonight for the local beer and fried chicken. What a gem!

Charlie's is a gem. We came in for the Saturday fried chicken special. The food was really good! The service was super and we were treated to a tableside visit from one of the owners. Love the jukeboxes!!

My new favorite bar and brunch spot! Super friendly staff, great tasting food, old style atmosphere. Used to be a bar in the 70's and 80's, recently reopened as a bar again. Has that "old timey" smell you can't get anywhere else from all the memories it's had before today. Highly recommend the country fried steak. Great breading, can cut with a fork, and nice gravy. Their American fries that come with it are fire! Best yet, they serve breakfast all day!

I moved to the neighbor about 15 years ago, tried the place for breakfast and felt like I didn't belong. Back then, when I walked in, people turned, looked at me, realized I wasn't a "regular" and turned back to their food/drink without saying a word.

Today, I was greeted, felt welcome and enjoyed my breakfast. I'm coming back!

Be sure to try the American Fries. They were perfect: crispy on the outside and hot and tender on the inside. Delicious!!!

Hands down one of Belleville's funnest little bar and restaurant. What are they known for? Their famous fried chicken and fish tacos! What else are they known for? Their amazing craft beer selection. Great tunes are always on, live bands throughout the month, and an awesome staff serving it up to you. If you haven't been here yet, it's definitely worth checking out.

Last Update, been all over with reviews for this place, last time there the service was so slow and out if the 5 of us not one order was right and took way too long, probably won't be back for a long time. Too bad, Update, been back three more times, service much better and food still awesome. Moved up to 5 stars. Went three times. Atmosphere really nice, place is clean, music just the right level, able to talk naturally without screaming. Food, really good, 1/2lb burger, onion rings, cheese fries, wings, chicken tenders, cod plate all very good. Drinks little strong but not complaining, huge selection of different beers, my friend had three different ones, he was in heaven. Service really slow, hour from time we sat till food arrived. Faster service, would have had more drinks, trying to figure out what time they open is rather puzzling. One place says 9am. another place says 7am. Menu has open Sunday through Tuesday at 7am, closed Monday's. Think it suppose to be open Tuesday thru Sunday open at 7am. Could be 9 am. Not actually sure. Would have had the Thursday night special on tacos but was not told when ordering. Get a actual server , faster drinks, faster food out, more profit.

Very friendly and the fried chicken was awesome! We were a large party but they accommodated us very well. I'll be back the next time I'm in town! All the food was very tasty!
