I would call this a hidden gem, but with 1900+ great reviews it clearly is not so hidden! Perfect spot on the way home from the beach. The ambiance is very cute, the drinks are strong, and the salsa and chips are freshly made. I LOVED my enchiladas Del Mar. The portions are generous and the staff is super sweet and friendly. I can’t wait to go ahead and come back after another beach day. Good value for the food and service you get.
Visited with some friends on a Sunday evening after tennis! The place was fairly empty and the service was so friendly and quick. The salsa and guacamole with chips were delicious. I had the flautas and my husband had the chorizo and eggs. Very yummy! Will definitely need to return.
Everyone was friendly and social and nice. It was quite welcoming. It made the process of going out to eat less transactional than it typically feels. Unfortunately, we thought the food was “meh” at best. Drink specials are pretty good but we can’t get over the food
The food was amazing. The salsa that came with the chips was one of the best I've had. The Saturday lamb special was also one of the best lamb dishes I've had. The churros were really good, too, with the drizzle of honey. The churros were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I'm really glad we found this restaurant. If you are visiting NASA, I highly recommend this place for great Cuban cuisine.
We came with a group for Margarita Mondays. It was busy and my expectations were low- I was severely wrong. The service was great, the Mariachi band was fabulous, food delicious, and most surprising was the 2 for 1 margaritas. I expected NO liquor, but was delighted to find a very tasty and surprisingly strong Margarita! Made me happy! We will definitely be back!
Absolutely. Fabulous Mexican food atmosphere is congenial for families and couples. Our waitress. Kimberly was a breath of fresh air. She helped us select from the menu. Told us what was the better deals were. Hats off to our excellent waitress and her great service. They are one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area.
We found this place when in Florida while waiting for our cruise. It was a cute little restaurant with friendly staff and absolutely delicious food.
Our server (Maria) was the greatest!! She was friendly, she went over the menu with my wife, and recommended a dish that was unbelievably tasty. I already knew what I wanted! The food came out fast. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. A real Mexican restaurant feel. I highly recommend Chaparrals for an authentic experience. This was not my first time eating here, and I’ve never been let down.
