Best WLM Reviews

We recently visited Champs on a Saturday night for dinner while in town. I had the Jambalaya and it was beyond delicious! It had lots of shrimo and just the right amount of spice! My husband enjoyed the Oyster Po Boy. The service was perfect. What a cool sports bar/restaurant! We loved the atmosphere!
We were in town at the Hampton, it was close of course we were in question if it was open as there were not outside lights. We walked in a was hit with the loudness of the place. Not what we planned we still stayed lucky was set over in the corner not as loud. Very dark had a light over the table to see our menus.
Good was decent although had to send mine back since it had cheese and I order no cheese. He said he grabbed the wrong one? The mushrooms were cold.
It was nice try, don’t know that it would be our first choice.
Very dark and loud are the two things that stood out. But for young people probably no problem. Our waiter seemed rushed and I felt a bit rushed but food was not awful.
Very dark interior, many opportunities to watch sport. We have had the beet salad which was good but a bit small, the benchwarmer sandwich which was ok and the jambalaya which was disappointing. The waitress didn’t seem to care that we bearly touched it. Beer menu, on the other hand, was enticing and wide. Probably won’t come back:(
What a great place to meet and share time together with a group of friends! There is lots of space, lots of servers and help. The owner was working the shrimp and side bar area on a Friday night! That says a lot about a place. The atmosphere is lively, tons of TV's everywhere, and a fun place to go.
Showed up starving for an early dinner on a Saturday. We were seated immediately. We ordered the pierogies appetizer. I prefer mine more crispy. These were probably boiled, then finished by being covered with oil and tons of somewhat sautéed onions, and served with a side of sour cream. Not the best, but pierogies ate pierogies and they are hard to ruin. Just had a bunch of leftover onions and sour cream.
For our entree I got the Cajun Chicken Cheesesteak and subbed my fried for Mac & Cheese. This was so dang good! The chicken cheesesteak was super gooey & cheesy. However, there wasn't much Cajun flavor to it. I was a little let down by that. My wife got the Colorado Rockie (French dip) with fries. It was really good too. I love the battered fried.
The price was a little more than we anticipated ($25/person after tip with no drinks)
Next time I do want to try their hand made ravioli, and the Nachos
Honestly used to love it here! The service is so awful anymore. We called to place an order for pick up and the guy sighed and had the worst attitude. I get everyone has bad days, but it’s a common issue at this place. It sucks bc their food is actually decent but we decided to stop ordering from here thanks to the staff.
I visited my home town and my sisters and I went here. I got a salad, and the chicken on it was terrible and raw. I politely asked the waitress if I could get something else, but they wouldn’t replace my meal, and for $15 for a salad they should have. I brushed it off until my sister realized the manager kept passive aggressively coming past our table and giving us dirty looks. In that moment I realized why I moved down south because southerners (or respectable people in general) would never treat anybody the way that manager did to us. Bless his little heart.
Wait staff was a bunch of jealous white trash. Can’t handle the heat stay out of the kitchen. Also keep personal feelings out of your professional work place
That’s funny, considering we were harassed by your staff first. In fact we were approached directly even though we were sat in a different section. Then the waitress was not only rude but used vulgar language. So if your policy doesn’t tolerate harassment explain why either of these people
Still have a job.
If you are going to run a business then all employees must keep personal opinions or emotions out of a professional establishment.
Your response is not only empty but goes to show your ignorance in owning a business.
