I've been getting my hair cut by Tony, owner of Champs for years, since before he even had his own spot. I've got nothing but great things to say about my experience working with him - he's always been incredibly professional, very responsive via phone and text to get appointments scheduled, and the cuts are always fantastic. His prices are extremely reasonable, and he keeps his schedule running very efficiently.
Don't expect to be able to walk-in or make same day appointments - he's in demand, and that shows in the fact that he's typically booked out several days in advance, but I see that as the strongest endorsement of his skills as a barber - his customers keep coming back again and again. As long as I live in this area and Tony is operating champs, it will continue to be the only place I get cuts.
These are some top-notch barbers! If you want the hot towel treatment, they've got it! I donated my hair for the first time through these guys, and they helped develop a plan for my hairstyles as I went through the process of regrowing enough to donate again. Incredible service with incredible personalities. I'd rate them 10/10 if I could!

Tony is amazing and always takes the time to get us in. We always walk out really happy and looking great. We appreciate you! I have lived in many different places and by far Champs is our favorite. He takes the time to listen to what you want and that’s really important. So if you’re in the area check him out. Even if you have to drive a bit it’s worth it.

Tony got my mohawk looking more fresh than it ever has. Super cool dude, quick, efficient, good conversation, good quality cut, great price. Can't beat it and I'll definitely be going to him from here on out.

I’m usually really picky with who I let cut my hair but being in college now I had to find someone new here in Oneonta. Im so glad I chose champs because my roommate recommended them. Tony is a super cool guy they’re all very chill and he did a perfect job. I usually don’t like my hair the day I get it cut but tony got it exactly how I wanted and now I can say for the first time in my whole life That I’m super satisfied with my haircut right after the cut. I’m definitely only going here from now on ????
