Chicken Pad Thai: The whole meal lacked taste. Chicken Pad Thai is supposed to have a sweetness to it. I think they might have forgotten to add sauce to it. The chicken was dry and was sliced to big. I tasted it and like the noodles there was no taste. When I returned home, I added Garlic Powder and some salt to the meal and was able to eat some of it. Threw the rest in the trash. Service was fast and served with a smile. Not sure what happened, I have ordered here before, although it's been awhile, and the food was delicious.
Thanks! The food was delicious and tasted authentic to other Thai I have eaten. The only downside is that the prices seem a little high to the portion size. Some of the containers were reusable and some were compostable. Which I think is a nice touch. The chai tea is delicious.
Tasty, cheap, and fast! Sometimes they're cash only, but it looks like they usually take cash, credit card (3% fee), and Venmo
Bummed. I was excited to see this place had 4.5 stars and had pad see ew on the menu. Nice folks. Unfortunately my pad see ew lacked sauce and the noodles were wrong. It was a miss for my visit. I would try something else next time.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting CHAI-YO THAI in Mountain Home, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! Mama, as she's affectionately called, is an absolute gem and made my visit all the more enjoyable.
The food is incredibly fresh and made to order, with the exception of some soups. Despite the wait time being around 10 minutes, it's well worth it for the quality of the food. The pad Thai and veggie rolls were particularly standout dishes, and Mama even threw in free rice and other extras at times.
While the food truck doesn't deliver, it's a small inconvenience for the delicious food and exceptional service. Mama is a hard-working lady who puts her heart and soul into her cooking, and it truly shows. I would highly recommend CHAI-YO THAI to anyone in the Mountain Home area looking for authentic and delicious Thai cuisine.
Overall, my experience at CHAI-YO THAI was fantastic, and Mama's humor and dedication to her craft made it all the more memorable. Thank you, Mama, for a wonderful visit, and I can't wait to come back for more of your amazing food!

Authentic Thai food you can get in Mountain Home Town. My friends and I had to wait for our 6 orders but the home cooked food was worth the time. The portions are huge too! The owner was the only person taking orders, preparing the ingredients, and cooking the food. Kudos to her for serving the delicious food despite managing everything on her own! Very down-to-Earth and honest small business that is deserving for locals to support.
Friendly, great food, and brought the food right to the car while we were waiting!
We ordered the Pad Thai, and the Pan Set Yew both pork with fried rice on the side. The food was really good!!
They also included chip sticks, soy sauce, and chili without being asked!
