This wasn’t my first time using Springside Automotive. Before my father passed, he always went here for my car issues. After him passing, I took my car to this shop in November-December (2020). I asked the owner to give me a full diagnostic of what I needed done to my car. He gave me an estimate of about $926. At the time I was unemployed and just gave birth. I told him that, he understand. I checked in with him on the price round January-February because I got a job and was going to trade it in for a newer version of my vehicle. He told me he’d have to get back to me and never got back to me. Called again a few times here and there, never got a call back. Claimed to always be busy. Every time I called, the owner answered. End of June (2021) I call to get some information from him as I planned to trade the vehicle. I told him to send me the VIN/Tag/Title. He claims it wasn’t inside the glove compartment. Can’t take a registered vehicle to the shop without its documents inside. I tell him okay, it’s being towed. I’ll figure the rest out. Tow truck company gets the car, takes it to the dealership. I come to gather belongings the following day, my radio, driver door panel, and other things were damaged or missing. Radio was cut out of the frame. Driver side door panel was hanging out of the appropriate place. Brand new struts inside my trunk were missing. Overall car was not in the condition I brought it in. Called the shop, spoke with the owner regarding the issue, he told me he wouldn’t be able to tell me because it’s been there for so long and he didn’t have a clue about anything regarding the vehicle. At the time, it had only been there for approx. 7-9 months. As I checked in multiple times within that timeframe. I know this shop damaged my car because how else would my items be missing out the trunk? The work needed didn’t require anything from the trunk. I never even mentioned the struts to them. All I know is, I don’t trust this mechanic shop any longer. The wildest part is when I told him which towing service I used, he said they were great and always reliable. He never even vouched for his own mechanic workers. Raised a huge red flag for me.
I've been going to Ceriale's for years now and with Mike's help have kept my 2006 Civic running smooth for 17 years now. The owner is always ready to answer and explain every repair, cause and effect, so I am always aware of what my car needs fixing.
Our family has trusted Mike with keeping our cars road ready for over two decades now. He took great care of us when we were a young couple and needed an honest and reasonably priced mechanic. We got lucky early in our search when we found Mike Ceriale. We're onto the next of generation of drivers in our household taking their cars to Mike. I basically garaged my Porsche for two years until he got his own place again. I can't begin to say how happy we are that Mike is back running his own shop!!! I highly recommend you get a quote from Mike on your next service or repair before you go anywhere else.
I have been taking my cars here to Tim's for over 3 years now. They have worked on 2 of mine and every time they have, they had my car back to me within a day or 2 completely fixed up. Always a reasonable and fair pricing on things and very efficient. Also very pleasant people to deal with. Overall Mike and Tim always do a great job! Thank you guys.
So happy Mike has his own shop again. He does such great work and he gets you in and out on a timely basis. We have already had 2 cars at his new shop and will continue to use his services. He does quality work at an affordable price.
I’ve been going to mike ever since I’ve had my first vehicle. I’ve followed everywhere he goes for my truck/car repairs. So happy Mike has his own shop again and they do an amazing job there. Same care, person just a new location. Very happy for Mike. 1000% check out the new location!!
Great experience! Fixed up my car after a nearby Jiffy Lube destroyed the oil pan. Was able to get my car fixed very quickly, at a fair price, and on a holiday weekend no less.
I'm an experienced DIY'r on most of my vehicle maintenance. But when I'm pressed for time or it's just inconvenient for me to do my own work, this is the place I would highly recommend. The actual name of this facility is Tim's Auto (Ceriales is the previous shop before it was acquired by Tim). What sets this place apart from all other local repair shops is you get personal attention from the owner, Tim. He is very prompt with any updates on vehicle status and gets the job done on time. His motto to all his mechanics: "Treat every repair as if it was your personal vehicle." That's class and quality.
Recent service: 2004 Volvo S60 Radiator replacement, transmission flush.
