We previously enjoyed Central Taco, and we suggested it to our family for a quick bit after cocktails at a nearby distillery.
This time, however, we had a terrible experience. First, we were sat at a table near the kitchen, which was freezing, compared to the main dining area. The nacho chips and salsa arrived, and we had about 5 large chips for 4 people. The rest were crushed, from the bottom of the bag.
I ordered Coconut Shrimp Tacos, and they were the saddest tacos I’ve ever seen. The shrimp were OK, two per taco, but the rest of the taco was terrible. Small cubes of marinated pineapple, and maybe 0.5 grams of green sauce barely visible on the corn tortilla. A little effort could’ve made these desirable.
Fajitas were OK, but the accompanying rice was Goya box mix, and the beans were watery and two bites worth.
Burrito was large, but my companion stated a frozen burrito would’ve been better.

Brussels app delish great chili tai favor he loved his coconut shrimp tacos and I ordered American tacos chicken, it was a tad dry, as was his, one might think coconut shrimp taco might come with chili Thai sauce, but otherwise very comfortable, quick service, Tidy and clean, smiley happy people. Flavor was definitely in the house, gorgeous cocktail that tasted delicious (Frosty Margarita).

I love the margaritas they have here - they are so tasty. The Crispy Fish Tacos taste good but are very small.
My boyfriend came with me once and got the Chicken Torta which was also very good. I had gotten the Coconut Shrimp Tacos which were ehhh. But our Shortbread Cookie Skillet was tasty!

Fun place to pop into! Can imagine they get pretty busy but on Monday night was very chill. The service was fast and the waitress attentive. Really enjoyed the house margaritas. The tuna bites were excellent and the spicy chicken tacos were fun! I’d definitely go back for the churros and the guacamole ????
My 1st time visiting here for a quick bit, who can resist the idea of tacos and margaritas? Not this girl! There is a limited selection menu, but all the basics plus a few surprises and drinks were great, very on point. My waitress, Ava, was very sweet and attentive. The food was good. Atmosphere was great they have outdoor seating also if you prefer, both in the front and back of the place. Overall, it was a good dining experience, and I will be going back again.
If I could rate this place 10 stars I would! Every thing we had here was absolutely delicious. The tacos come in 2 per order and they are a little small, but I thought that was nice cause you get to try and bunch of different ones. We were able to find free street parking, but we went at an off time, so if it’s a busy time, I could see parking being an issue. My favorite tacos were the coconut shrimp, the crispy brussel sprouts, and short rib tacos! Dessert was also perfect- the inside of the churros was a chocolate that melted in your mouth. Will definitely be coming back here because wow!
I really loved the atmosphere and vibe at Central Taco and Tequila. The margaritas are the real star here, honestly the best I've had. The chicken dip and queso was really good. I got the fish tacos and wasn't a big fan, my waitress Alexis was really nice and let me order something else. The short rib tacos are absolutely perfect. So flavorful and should have been my first choice. I took my team here & everyone enjoyed the variety of tacos and drinks so it was a great lunch. It was a pleasure to dine at this establishment. We went around 2pm on a Friday and it was pretty occupied so our service was really fast and attentive.
This is one of the only bars I know that serves 2oz of tequila in a shot. Thank you for that. We enjoy your nice glassware as well as the atmosphere. Good place for couples date night. You guys need to get Sotol in your selection of Mexican spirits.
