Came though town on our way home from our birthday/anniversary trip in Grafton. We were looking for a local diner that was friendly with great food. The reviews looked promising and we got all but that. No one to greet us, so we sat ourselves. Then It took over 10 minutes for us to be waited on. We decided to do the buffet which we should have just ordered off the menu. After we were through with our meal it took almost another 10 minutes to get our check. The bathroom needed major cleaning and the soap dispenser was broken and dust was flying at me out of the vent in the ceiling. If we would have had the exact amount, we would have left the money on the table and walked out. They probably wouldn't have noticed.
Stopped in and had their Sunday Buffet. It was very good and people were friendly, just did not get the fifth star because they had no omelet station (which might be a little unfair based on the price point). Still I would return and recommend it to others.
Stopped here on my way through town. Dated decor, but clean with a very friendly staff. I had the Pork Tangles (deep fried pork loin strips), a local favorite, which were pretty good. I'd stop here again if passing through.

I had the catfish and curly fries with a sweet tea, better than I hoped for!!! Will be returning during my stay!
