Im writing this review as I’m eating bc it’s sooooo good! I’m from Oaxaca and this is a delicious reminder of home. Definitely get the carnitas and pastor tacos and a side or beans, rice, chips & salsa. Well worth the price and really good especially after a surf ????????
Decided to try some food at the gas Mart in Cayucos. Outdoor seating was pretty full and menu inside had tons of burritos and burgers and a small dining area as well. Ordered a carnitas torta for $6.99.
They accept card which is great and our order came out pretty quickly and tasted fresh. Torta had onions, jalepeno, and lettuce with a small amount of beans. Not a ton of flavor and definitely not top 5 tortas for SLO county. Probably should have gotten a burrito instead, but overall not bad and definitely worth another try.
The attendant was friendly. The place was gross. We didn't realize the extent until after we had gotten our cocoa and decided to peruse the store. There were fruit flies in the bread case. Not a couple, but a whole swarm of them! We left. That place needs help. I wish I could post the video here. Going to find and contact the owners, this made my stomach churn. There was a nice selection of sealed beverages at least.
The burger tasted like unseasoned frozen typicalness seared with apathy and presented with hypocritical mask rules. Keep expectations low. Go there very hungry.
My boyfriend and I stopped in this little town and didnt know what to eat, but we are glad we stopped at this place. We had the best rolled tacos that we have ever eaten. Salsas were great too! Thank you .
Great little gas station next to the beach. Tons of little stores close by as well. The gas pumps are super slow but everything is slow paced around here!
The food at the “deli” is extremely fresh and I highly recommend the burritos, especially the breakfast burritos, which are around ten dollars each. The burritos are pretty heavy, and are almost 10 inches long in length, so one should be more than enough for the average person. The other items on the menu are great too, but I don’t recommend getting the tacos unless they’re discounted, as they’re pretty small and didn’t taste as good as the other items. As for the bakery, I’d stay away since there are sometimes fruit flies hovering over the items, and the food isn’t as fresh as advertised.
