I ordered a salad without meat, adding avocado with ‘extra avocado’ each portion was only half of an avocado. $16.24 total without a drink. The salad was just OK and the portions was not big. Way over priced for what you get. I asked about the pricing and I was told that every extra is approximately six dollars.

The food is very good but every single time I have been to this location the female workers in particular have been incredibly RUDE. They act like customers coming in is an annoying inconvenience for them. If you don’t know exactly what you want and don’t get your order out fast enough I’ve had workers tell me to “hurry up” (all females). Another time I switched my order before the girl even scooped anything and she scoffed and rolled her eyes at me for changing my mind. I understand that no one REALLY wants to work, but at the end of the day they decided to apply and work at Cava but still act like it’s every customers fault that they had to come into work that day and do the job they applied for so I’m giving the service/atmosphere a one star. I also want to clarify this post is not meant or intended to target the women of this establishment but I have unfortunately only had negative experiences with the female staff at this location.
Food was pretty standard for this kind of set up. Workers were terribly rude. Additionally, the tables were sticky and the whole ambiance of the restaurant was too loud. Probably better if I just stuck to carry out with how unfriendly the workers are. Really made it seem like I was bothering them and the conversations they were having with coworkers.
Great food if your looking for a healthy option. I love the blueberry soda. Theirs so many different options. It’s like a mediterranean chipotle. The workers weren’t too friendly but the food made up for it.
Cava is a great casual dining restaurant. The food is good, relatively healthy, and a good price. The staff were friendly but I felt rushed. I understand that they are busy but they can’t get 5 stars because of that. I imagine coming on a different day would be preferable.
An interesting concept for Mediterranean food. The ordering process is easy and all the options are in front of you. The food tasted good and the flavors were delicious. The service was good but could be more friendly.
My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised this evening when we went to the CAVA in Hingham. The two young men who served us, Carlos and Steven, were apparently new employees from what the manager told us, but they completed our orders flawlessly. I've been to CAVAs before where the staff seemed to just want to get you out of the way, but not these two men. The manager (sorry, I didn't get his name) was also very friendly and upbeat, and the place was nice and clean. (I've been before when the floors were a sticky mess.) I was very happy with our experience here tonight.
NEVER ORDER ONLINE
Changing my review from 3 stars to 1 from two months ago. I'd give 0 if I could. No dressing given on my order & no pita crips or include pita for both orders. Asked for a bag during online checkout, NO BAG. The dressing we did get for the other bowl was a tablespoon, it didn't even fill halfway the small container given. Overall such a disappointment. Definitely going to let others know this place can't make things correctly, that's clearly put on the order slip. Got more in the bowl when we dined in last time. Portion is sad for price you pay. Probably not going to get food from here ever again.

Good selection of food. We did the make your own bowl. While waiting in long line & walking through the line and asking for the options we wanted from each staff member, some of the staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there and didn't make eye contact nor said anything. And some staff were nice and greeted us with smiles before asking what we'd like. It was very busy and hard to find seats. Some of the tables didn't have seats on opposite side. And a good amount of ppl were done eating but we're still sitting and chatting. Alot of younger ppl dining looking like they just came from the gym or were about to go with their workout outfits but had pushup bras? Lol..( if you actually go to the gym you know you don't wear a push-up bra you wear a sports bra) , had their hair done and make-up on while checking themselves out in their phones asking whoever they're with "does my hair look okay?" . Definitely certain type of vibes. Not really a family place, more younger generation place. Probably just get our food and eat else where next time.
