I try to support black businesses but this place needs to do better. I’ve tired to order this place three different time first time they opened up late second they didn’t have the food that I wanted now the third time it’s no one here mind you it’s after 2:00. I’m will never come back here and support this business.
What are your hours... I will change the stars when I try yall.... I'll do you right when I try your food. I needed to put at least one star to ask about the hours... I'll be over Tuesday ;)<--- original post needed to know times. Fiest time diner here and recently ate here. I ordered the 2 piece ribs with mac and cheese and collard greens with an added side of potato salad. As a foodie and a southern woman who adores soul food, the food was delicious. However, there was a little to much bbq sauce on the ribs and the potato salad needed a little seasoning. Other than that, I totally recommend you try Cat'z Kitchen...
My wife stopped in today and had lunch, the gentleman that waited on us was very nice. We had the 10 piece buffalo chicken wings with hot sauce and ranch as well as the Philly Cheese Steak. Everything is cooked to order here and everything was hot and fresh. Wait wasn't long, but if you're in a hurry I suggest calling ahead.
Food was excellent and the amount of food you get for the price is worth. I ask if they cook there beans in pork and was told they cook them in smoke turkey.I plan on coming back.
Food was not what soul food supposed to taste like. I had ribs, yams and collards greens. Collards had more stems than actual greens. Ribs was kinda tender. Oh by way lemonade was not home made and was not sweet at all. Sorry this was not worth buying.
This was my first visit and I must say I most likely will not be going back. I had the jerk chicken meal with macaroni and cheese and collard greens and a side of yams. I was not impressed since I got two chicken legs with the dinner.
One of my new favorite spots. On sunday they were serving oxtail. Probably the best oxtail ive ever had. Food here is amazing, atmosphere is also really good. Friendly staff and chef. If you enjoy some good soul food this is the spot.
Sighhhh.
Was so excited to come support yet another black business while bypassing other Sunday dinner establishments and it WAS A FAIL.
Walked in and didn’t get a warm greeting at all. So sad.
Was trying to make a large order and he( the owner) did not care if we were there or not. The young lady was polite. The server needed help but he was too busy watching the Falcons game.
The experience is and will be A NO GO BACK FOR ME AND MY FAMILY.
Sorry to put this out here like this but black businesses, let’s do better!
To make matters worse. Very clean and food menu looks good but THE OXTAILS WERE NOT READY AND MINUTES LATER THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY DIDN’T HAVE ANY AT ALL. Uuughhhh!
