Had a very good dinner. Ceasar salad was very good. Pici with meat sauce was a bit salty but still well done.
The service was great and my water stayed full the entire night. Filet was undercooked even for a medium. Atmosphere was plush and sophisticated. The 3 star was given mainly because our one piece of bruschetta was $8, and the undercooked steak was $31. Very convenient to the Hyatt where we stayed.
I love the oysters, but the service was a 2 or a 1.....we had to wait several minutes to get our drinks and then they forgot plus the table next to us. We never got water when we asked for water....and it was very confusing when we had several people waiting on us, it almost seem they were more interested on talking to each other then serving. Overall great food but they need to work on service....
The best reason to go here is the 2 course lunch for $14 at the bar during the work week. The food is excellent. Recommend the mesclun salad for first course, which has high quality and variety of greens. Any fish option for the main course is a winner, although pastas and chicken are also nice. The wine pours can be very generous (that's a huge glass next to a pint glass in the picture).

Customer service was out standing. They were so welcoming. The food was delicious. The prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was very helpful as well. My boyfriend and I decided to stop by for a nice dinner and he suggested this restaurant. He definitely earned brownie points that night. As far as dress attire you can wear anything from casual clothing to dressy attire. Thanks for giving us such a memorable experience. Definitely request Fessaha as your waiter if you ever decide to stop by this restaurant.
It's food and service was impeccable. I order the Pasta Gorgonzola and it's probably the best pasta dish I've ever had. The appetizer was also delectable and amazing quality for the high-end ambiance. They sat us down immediately after we walked in, and found us a comfortable place to sit. The owner came out to talk to us and he was very polite and welcoming. Would love to come again next time I visit DC
