This is a small restaurant, tucked away on the lake. They have a variety of seasonal choices on the menu stemming from land to sea. When I went, they were only seating outside and the view was absolutely amazing! The prices are comparable to other local seafood spots and it will be an absolute delight to dine with the birds!
The lobster roll was so good! If you’re craving one, head here! The seating area is right on the water and it’s so beautiful. Definitely check it out for a meal by the water.
My family and I had a birthday dinner/lunch on the weekend, we had Joe who is also the chef at the restaurant, he was fantastic as our server. This was my first time at this restaurant and I will definitely coming back. The 1.5 hr drive from Syracuse was definitely worth it. Thank you to the restaurant staff for fantastic service and food. The cocktails were great. It's the one place that made my cocktail just how I like it! The view is phenomenal. The ambience is wonderful and relaxing. If you're thinking about going, stop thinking and go. For starters, we had the shrimp cocktail which was amazing. I had the coconut shrimp and my friend had the key west pineapple shrimp skewers. Both were great but his was better than mine. The food was flavorful and delicious. Service was impeccable and the view to die for
It was very helpful that someone was working the parking lot. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I suggest making a reservation prior to coming - we got seated immediately. We sat outside next to the water, loved the atmosphere and the cocktails were yummy. I love a good fish fry so I ordered it.. but sadly, my dinner was bland and wouldn't recommend it. We did order the jambalaya and it was delish!!! It does seem like that the restaurant is due for some updating and upgrades. ie: inside of the restaurant, glasses and plates.
I've had better here. Short staffed. Waitress kept forgetting to bring what was asked to the table. I had the broiled fish. I asked for tartar sauce. She didn't remember until I was done. What can be said at this point? But that's alright. Didn't hold it against her. She was tipped well.
7/30/23: This place needs to stop relying on the setting. It's a great lakeside setting. The food was not so good. The zucchini sticks sauce was too chunky, for 1 thing. The sauce needs to be smooth so it coats the breaded sticks. My chicken ???? wrap was wet & fell apart. We all had mild digestion issues later, but i dont know what that was about. The waitstaff were not friendly. The front entrance gal was unfriendly. They also did not have tee shirts for sale.
I had the fried platter. Tastes like the oil it was fried in and not anything like seafood. Great View, So nice sitting on the Lake, Service was good, I hate leaving a so so review, I wish the food was better. UPDATE 8/29/23. I WAS BACK IN UPSTATE NY AND FELT I NEEDED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE. GREAT BAKED SALMON REALLY GOOD THERE WAS NO LOBSTER MEAT IN THE LOBSTER BISQUE, BUT IT WAS STILL VERY TASTY. SERVICE WAS GREAT ALSO.
