Castañedas has authentic mexican food. I sometimes go in the evenings when I don't want to cook dinner and it hits the spot. Amanda takes my orders and she is very delightful and customer service oriented.
Pone atencion a los ordenes. No pagamos mas nomas para dejarnos pobre. Jaja???????? I ordered Cheeto fries and got regular carne asada fries. I made it very clear with my order. Receipt and everything. I did call and made sure they knew they mest up. That's how you lose customers.
Great food ..a little out of the way but brightly lit and fresh food
Great tasting food, rarely see dine in people but the food great. I love the San Felipe Burrito. It's filled with carne asada and shrimp cheese rice and a sauce that is almost like a ranch like but creamy style. Carne asadas fries are also good but plan to share the plate.
I like castanedas but lately they've been messing up I order 4 tacos and got carne asada fries returned to exchange and still got 2 different tacos than what I originally order so i just ate them but they were very good and tasty
If i could give negative stars i would. Went to the indio location and the guy at the window made racial comments because of my tattoos and skin color. Definitely wont be going anymore.
If you want to chance food poisoning, this place is a 5 star establishment. Otherwise, if you enjoy a casual dining experience, look elsewhere.
My husband and I meet at a local sit down place for lunch (El Capitan) and after waiting for 30 minutes (I'm on a teacher lunch break) we had to leave without receiving our food. My husband felt bad we waited so long at El Capitan without eating so he went to Castaneda's drive thru.. I had two delicious grilled shrimp tacos and they were amazing!! It came with fresh cucumbers and spicy peppers and carrots!! SO GOOD! THIS WILL BE OUR NEW LUCN SPOT.... QUICK, POLITE, PRICED RIGHT, AND DELICIOUS!!
