Best WLM Reviews
Very nice a busy place. Feels very authentic and the flavors were veru good. Our server was attentive and the prices were reasonable. Nice part of Dunedin with lots to see for a good after meal walk or to check out the local breweries.
Will def look fwd to try more things off the menu. The spicy drinks were delicious!
First off let’s start off by noting we went to downtown Dunedin on a Friday night. It was lively. The restaurant was no exception. Our reservation was at 8:30. We were promptly seated but only after viewing the first of several birthday celebrations, in full effect. Our server was excellent, offering recommendations and suggestions. She also allowed us to pace ourselves and we didn’t feel rushed. The dishes were chili Verde, which was excellent, and Los Dos moles, in which I got the chicken and veggie combination.
I will agree with several other reviews: the chips and guacamole ate delicious. A slight air of heat but perfect. We also tried the ceviche and thoroughly enjoyed that as well.
You can’t eat Mexican food unless you have a margarita, so the special with organic agave and lime juice is hands down the freshest and smoothest way to drink your margarita!! No artificial colors or dyes there!!
Overall was a wonderful night!!
Both salads were enjoyable. I opted for the garden salad while my husband chose the cactus salad. The tortilla soup was particularly delicious, well-seasoned, and served in a generous portion.
Both our enchilada and smoked salmon quesadilla were savory. The quacomole and chips and salsa were fresh. We would definitely eat here again when we visit. My only complaint was it was a bit loud and we had a hard time hearing each other at the table.
This is some of the best Mexican food, I have had in a while. It’s a little pricey even at lunch time but the portions are big and the food tastes amazing. The service was wonderful and she was very helpful. This place also has a very cool vibe and decor as well. I’m not in Dunedin all the time but I will keep coming back each time I am. Had a great time and will recommend this place to friends and family.
I haven't given a poor review in years. This deserves one. I've been eating at this place for years. Always very good. Not tonight. We ordered a steak taco salad and chicken fajitas. More bland food had never been served. Completely tasteless I don't know if anyone in the kitchen actually is tasting what they are serving? Salad was from a bag and the cheap shredded cheddar cheese was from a bag also. Why not shred it yourself instead of serving this plastic? My steak was chewy tough sirloin not cooked fresh.
The chips - salsa- marguerita were good.
The bill was 76$. For tasteless food. Taco Bell.
So if the owners are reading this : Step up your game. You should feel bad about serving bland good with cheap dried out meat . Get a chef that has taste buds.
Not going back.
This is an outstanding, authentic, Mexican restaurant that delivers in all ways. where to start? First, great location, right on the main strip in Dunedin, close to parking and easy to get to. Second, the service is superior. We were greeted warmly at the door and promptly seated. Our server, Laurie, could not have been friendlier or more helpful with great suggestions. These days, good service is often lacking in many establishments, so big kudos to this place for remembering the importance of taking care of the customer- it's really appreciated. Third, this place has a really eye-catching, warm, cozy, and fun atmosphere. We really enjoyed the vibe of this place and it enhanced our dining experience. Fourth, the menu is expansive, loaded with all kinds of delicious selections- truly something for everyone. Beyond the multitude of choices, the food is simply delicious. We followed our server's suggestion and both opted for the Arroz Cabezon and, my gosh, it was fantastic. Truly, some of the best Mexican food we've had. The portions were generous and, again, just delicious. Finally, the prices are really reasonable. We both had a wonderful entree and each had a 9 ounce glass of Malbec and, with a generous tip, still walked away having spent less than $100 dollars, which is a really good deal. To sum up: this place has it all going on and we left completely satisfied. I would dine here again without any second thoughts. Highest recommendation. Enjoy!
I was a little hesitant to try this place with a rating of 4.4. Let me tell you I was so glad we did! The staff was amazing! Our server Laurie was fantastic! Very quick service, and she answered so many of questions, with extensive knowledge of the menu! For appetizer we ordered homemade salsa fresca and homemade guacamole with fresh tortilla chips! It was outstanding! The flavors were unforgettable! For our main dish we had tacos de lengua (street tacos with beef tongue). Y’all…it was fantastic! Tender and just the right amount of crispy edges! Try it!!! Another person had, Los dos moles, and another had Carnitas, both with homemade corn tortillas! All wonderful! Would absolutely recommend!
