Casa Mexicana has been a go-to for years. If you’re looking to walk into a restaurant and get great service and good food, no matter what time of the day or week— then this place is for you. The meal starts with a mix of chips (homemade flour and probably store bought corn) and salsa. Pro tip, the house salsa isn’t spicy enough for me, so I ask for the two spicier salsas to mix into it. They come in squeeze bottles and have great flavors— one is medium spicy and roasted tasting, the other is more tangy and even a little spicier.
For my meal today I ordered the green pork pozole and liked it! It is a generous portion and comes with heaping sides of onions, cilantro, and cabbage. I suspect they make it right when you order it, because the flavors didn’t seem “married” just yet. But, it was so amazing after heating it up later at home.
Plus, every meal comes with their delicious homemade flour tortillas… TOTAL YUM!!!
Over the years, I’ve had lots of things from Casa Mexicana… all of their dishes are pretty good. If you’re looking for super spicy— you’re going to have to ask for them to make it that way specifically.
The service is very attentive, the prices are fair, and the restaurant is always clean. One of the best things about this place is that they do a super awesome catering business. Whether you are feeding 4 people or 140 people, the food is fresh tasting, comes packaged up nicely and it is affordable.
Go give them a try again! Don’t forget to ask for the spicy salsa!!!
Ive never left a review before but i feel that its a great disservice to people not to, I’ve never in my life had Mexican food
This bland and horrible. I got steak and shrimp fajitas and they have squash and carrots, also no seasoning! The rice was almost white with no seasoning as well. The only thing that was good were the beans and home made tortillas. I called my order in at 6 I didn’t get my food until 6:50. Oh the salsa was bland too.
The food is delicious, and the homemade flour tortillas are my favorite. With the exception of one waitress there, the service is usually great. They I've recently remodeled the inside end looks updated. It's a great place to bring your entire family, as I have plenty of seating for all.

I ordered the Chile Colorado & my wife ordered the 2 enchiladas of shredded beef & both were delicious, the rice n beans were also on point !
The homemade tortillas were the topper for me they were big & delicious!!
The chips were warm the salsa could of been a little hotter...
The service was great from beginning to end.
I'm so glad they are back up and serving delicious food once agian. The breaded shrimp plate is to die for. Just some really good Mexican food and the waitresses was amazing. Thank you so much for the great meal. We will obviously be back for more.
I went to casa mexicana to enjoy my birthday today. I was super excited to go out and celebrate my birthday. The visit went well until the owner (Elena) came out to serve us our food. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her rudeness started when we asked for a bean dip to be token back because that’s not what we thought a bean dip was. Once the entree was done she brought out our place not even asking if that order was mine she shoved a 2 taco plate in from of me which was actually for my boyfriend. I had immediately told her that wasn’t my food and she didn’t even ask me. The second plate was my 2 year old food. The plate was extremely hot and instead of handling with care she decided to shove the plate infront of my 2 year old. I don’t wanna seem disrespectful nor cause a scene so I decided to ask for her name. When I left I asked for a manager and ask about her employee. Come to find out Elena is the owner. I will never return to this restaurant and I highly advise you not to return as well. I couldn’t believe how I was being treated especially on my birthday. We also payed almost $100 and definitely didn’t leave a tip I hope no one will ever havr to experience this horrific service.
I came in with my family,Food took long also they were catering to a party and pretty much ignoring or slow playing the rest of the restaurant also the owner (older hispanic women who name starts wit an L)was pretty rude to say the least when bringing food to table shoving extremly hot plates onto table w/o asking who ordered what, about them bringing us the wrong item instead of what we ordered all while having a sh!tty look on her face when we brought it up. Then she proceeded to stand across room and comment to other staff and point at our table w/o adressing us further it all seemed very highschoolish for a place that says there family friendly. Don't expect great service or friendly waiting staff. #DobetterLodi
I had a michelada, and beef chimichanga plate…
The michelada was just a glass of tomato juice and ice with a beer on the side.
The chimichanga plate was two tiny chimichangas with literally just beef chunks inside, that looked like they belonged in a stew… no cheese rice or beans inside… very bland.
