I have to say my kid's and I had a great meal at the Carriage Cafe, the food is so delicious and the prices are unbelievably low for now a day's restaurant prices ???? I had a Monte Cristo sandwich with fries and I loved it it's like cooked in a pan or a grill and not at all greasy. The kids ate Chicken fried steak and Cheese burger ???? and fries and loved everything. I don't live close bye or I'd be a regular customer...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐????
Thai icee coffee was less than appetizing with the cream chunks floating on top????????
Contemplated leaving but decided not to. Ordered spicy eggplant.
It was the best I have ever had. Perfect flavor. Not over cooked. Came with rice, egg roll, soup &salad with the lunch special $8.99.
I will go again and not order the Thai ice coffee
I can't believe I have lived in Simi since 2018 and never tried this place. Once stepping inside, this place feels untouched since the 1980s. The food is delicious and the prices are very affordable. I had the patty melt and my husband tried the famous Monte Cristo sandwich. All good! The restaurant was full of regulars. Everyone enjoying great conversation and no feelings of being rushed. Definitely a little jewel in Simi valley. It is a must try!
FYI their hours are slightly limited so catch them when they are open.
Great home style food. Nice and friendly staff. A Simi Valley diner staple. If you miss going to diners with your parents when you were a kid, come here to relive the nostalgia
Very friendly environment. I'm a young dude, and there were a lot of elderly people, but I enjoyed the vibes , and the food was delicious .
My husband and I ate here for lunch and were very impressed.Great food with amazing prices. Very nostalgic feel. The staff were fantastic. We have never been here before but they made us feel like we have been coming here for years. Definitely coming back!!
Only use cash here!!! Twice the machine has charged and the employees have no
Clue how to use the machine. They eventually issue a refund after two weeks. Food is great just bring cash.
