Best WLM Reviews
We have dined at this location a half-dozen times before and understand there is always a chance of something not being correct when dining out at any restaurant, but tonight’s experience was the worst I have ever had at any Carrabba’s I’ve dined at in the past 20 years.
We arrived around 6:30 PM and since the restaurant was not very busy, we were seated immediately. The server greeted us within a couple of minutes, took our drink orders and I an appetizer. We always look forward to the baskets of fresh, warm bread and the olive oil with spices but tonight, the bread we were given was stale and barely warm. It was so stale that the crust would not soak up the olive oil. When the server came to take our order, we asked for another basket, but it was barely better.
As I always do, I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and my wife ordered the salmon capperi with a side order of asparagus; we both got the lentils with sausage soup. The soup came quickly but it took nearly 45 minutes to get our entrees and when they did arrive, my wife’s asparagus was cold and what little amount of meat sauce was in my spaghetti was warm, not hot.
As she ate her salmon, I told my wife to get another order of asparagus and after 10 minutes or so, the server came to see if everything was okay and we asked for another order of asparagus. After a few minutes, we decided that because my wife was nearly done with her salmon, as he walked past, we asked the host to tell our server to cancel the asparagus. Our server offered a free dessert, but we said no, we just wanted the asparagus taken off the check. At this point, the server appeared to become irritated, walked off in a huff and returned with our check.
By this time, we have been in our booth nearly 90 minutes and our menus have sat on the end of the table while our server along with other restaurant staff walked past at least 10 times without stopping to take them. In fact, the menus, an empty breadbasket, and other dirty tableware/silverware were still sitting on the table when got our check.
I am a generous tipper and tip according to the service we receive. In this case, I didn’t want to leave one, but my wife insisted so I left much less than I typically would. If I go back to this location, I will make sure our server tonight is not our server and will wait as long as necessary for a table/booth to be available that server is not responsible for.
Great food. The bread is my favorite. Blackberry Sangria was awesome. Jeanne was our waitress in Myrtle Beach and she was great - very Attentive service and pleasant. She is one of the best!!!
Love this Carrabbas!!!
A tad slow to get a hostess to be seated and waiter to my table, but to be fair, I arrived around 7:45 pm, so they could have finally had a chance to take a post-dinner rush break. The friendliness and service 100% made up for the slow-ish start. Carrabba's is, and always will be my favorite restaurant. This trip was no different.
Be sure to visit and get the Chicken Trio!
The chicken was some of the best I had, the Rosa was excellent. Emily was amazing attentive and very knowledgeable about the drink and food selection. The customer service was out of this world, the manager Angie made sure to stop by the bar multiple times to make sure everything was good and up to standard. Could not recommend this place enough. Good food, good service, and great people!
Our server was very sweet. The portion sizes were a bit huge but we just took any we couldn’t finish to go. I ordered the mezzaluna and it was pretty good.
My husband and I went in for dinner last night and it was delicious. Kelsey, our waitress, was amazing and so friendly.
We just want to say how clean and inviting our North Myrtle Beach Carrabba’s is and how much we enjoy coming here. Our server Jeanne did such a good job today and was so pleasant. She made our dining experience an excellent one. We commend her highly and we can’t wait to return.
We had a wonderful dinner at Carrabba's in North Myrtle Beach last night. Our server Tage was the best. He was efficient and he made sure we had everything we needed to make our meal enjoyable! Plus his friendly personality added to our good time!
