WOW! The staff was super friendly, the decorations were really cool, and the food was so incredible!
The place was steadily busy and at the same time everyone made you feel like you were the only one there ordering. I did not feel rushed.
I would definitely go here again, next time I'm in town!
Food was good. I can vouch for the green beans, mash potato’s, BBQ chicken, rotisserie chicken, and potato salad. The Mac and cheese was a little mid. Food is a bit on the pricey side but there really are no complaints. We were satisfied.
Before I demolish this food from Carolina Kitchen, I have to give kudos, the meatloaf, Mac and Cheese is awesome, candid yams is on point. Ohhh and they have vegan options!!! If you go please ask for the Love rice!!( which is Vegan) no disappointment at all. Great atmosphere for families or date night!!
This place/location was totally over rated, the chicken had no seasoning, the greens was disgusting, the yams was ok. The best thing was the rice and mash potatoes ooh yeah and the cornbread. Waste of $45 , will never return to this location. The staff was pleasant that’s where the stars came from cause the food was DISGUSTING. Wasn’t open for dining but they allowed us to sit and eat since they were still open.
There’s a new @carolina_kitchen but this one has a twist! Check out this new location that also has a PLANT BASED MENU, in addition to its regular menu, in Upper Marlboro, MD!

Through Doordash I ordered fried whittling, potato salad and yams delivered was blackened chicken on bed of rice, mac and cheese and yams. Someone at Carolina Kitchen probably gave the driver the wrong order I suppose. Huge mess up.
I have been to this specific 'Carolina Kitchen' over a dozen times now by myself and with family and friends. The food is delicious and the customer service is phenomenal. The Cornbread needs help and the restaurant could use another recipe. I am highly disappointed in the Cornbread with the lack of flavor. The Gospel music they play and the workers uttering "Welcome, Welcome!" as you enter is so amazing; beautiful even.
They're good peoples. I love the staff.
There is plenty of parking too.
I LOVE the 'Country Fried Croaker' and 'Country Fried Shrimp' meals along with ALL their desserts. SO DELICIOUS!!!
