This is my second time coming and guess what, the blue cheese is still phenomenal! It's Buffalonian-approved. I had chicken tenders and lots of that blue cheese. Our server Ronny did a great job with food and drinks.
I love Carolina Ale House, always a favorite stop of mine when I'm in town. Today I got the breaded honey Buffalo wings and fries as usual, but the wings were off today, the wings were way too overcooked. Coming from the food service industry, it looks like they accidently ordered smalls and cooked them as long as they would the mediums. It's been a few months since I've been here, but hopefully they get the bigger wings back in.
Came in with my family on a Saturday night. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The menu options were great. I really enjoyed the spinach dip and Grand Silver margarita. Jammie was our server, she went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot!
Fried chicken sandwich was evenly breaded and had solid flavor. Bun was fluffy, tomato and lettuce were fresh. Fries had a good flavor.
Bar had plenty of TVs showing the relevant games with views from all locations within the bar. Staff was kind and professional.
I recommend trying this place.
Great place for environment all of the servers are not in the back talking and looking out without a care.
Got seated immediately, but waited 15 minutes at our table along with two other tables while the sever was out on the patio talking with people. Asked for water from a sever passing by and drinks, to which nothing came out of this.
Ended up walking out after our drinks never showed for another 10 minutes and across the steer where I tipped the server the money I was going to spend here
I would probably come back for game and apps, if my local places are not an option. The service started off rough but our nice waitress made up for it. But the food there was no making up for. Nothing was great, not even worth mentioning the dry burgers , Nashville hott chicken had a weird sauce not Nashville hot tho … bang ban shrimp has Sweet chili sauce, the cheese curds were salty. Cold over fried tater tots.
Arrived at 1:30 on Thursday for lunch, walked in and sign said wait to be seated. Employee sitting there on phone so I stood and watched as employees kept walking by. Nobody offered to seat us. Actually I began to wonder if I was invisible. I left and went across street to another restaurant where we were immediately seated and taken care of. Carolina ale house is mediocre at best at least they should offer good customer service
Food is good and lots of TVs to watch sports is a plus and nice outdoor area as well. Staff friendly just not enough - those that are here to work try.
However place is Chronically understaffed- particularly on Sunday at dinner - we are talking 5-7 pm not late! you could wait 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge you to get a table - instead just go sit at the bar if you can for your party size
