The Carnitas…are the bomb! The rice n beans…basic n unflavored…flautas were burnt…not really full or flavorful…the salsa and chips were amazing…and the two ladies working in there were amazing! Great customer service! Oh yeah that Mango Margarita…definitely worth the money!!!
I would say best carnitas in Chicago, I've been here multiple times and the food tastes like your mom or grandma whipped it up in the back. Food was the best every time never dropped on quality and the staff was always nice ♥️
We were lucky to find this gem for a top quality breakfast as out of towners. The owner helped us himself and could not have been more friendly and engaging. The food was just delicious. So much flavor and really high quality ingredients. Makes we wish we lived in Chicago!
Food was great! Service was awesome as well. I ordered a torta with their famous carnitas, my husband got the carnitas as a meal. They also have a back area that’s lit and offers some insulation so you’re not completely outdoors. Quant overall, I’d suggest bringing something warm (for the season) as there’s a draft and the seats are made a metal. Great prices; the mango margarita is made from scratch.. Very well crafted! I ended up drinking all of mine and my husband’s!
We came to eat here after a funeral (my nephew's grandfather passed away) and the service was great! They had a banda come and play music, so it was perfect with the food, definitely want to come and eat inside their restaurant next time
Great carnitas, but was disappointed that they don't automatically come with tortillas when you order a few pounds to go. I ended up having to make an additional stop, so that was annoying. Overall, there wasn't much of a wait, so that was definitely a bonus!
Ordered Carne en su jugo and a burrito de al pastor. They both were terrible gave me more soup than meat,beans and didn’t seem to have bacon at all. The burrito was missing beans inside and the meat had mostly fat and greasy
Went here for a private party the food and service was very good. Will definitely go back to try thier food during normal business hours.
