Best WLM Reviews
What a great little shop! The artists are professional, knowledgeable, and creative.
I can't recommend them enough. I won't spend my money anywhere else.
Beyond talented, I would never go anywhere else. Exceeded my expectations on both tattoos.
Nailed placement, line work incredible and visibly flawless. Harleys permanent free handed body art is at the peak of the industry.
I have gotten quite a few tattoos here although not from Rob yet I followed harley here and I have been happy it's always a great environment and my tattoos have always turned out better than I can imagine . I've watched Rob work as I was getting my tattoo from harley and how he interacted with his clients both harley and Rob make you comfortable and feel as if you have known each other forever they are great people and artist I highly recommend them
Amazing environment and staff. Wouldn’t go anywhere else, Harley has been my artist for years, amazing work and always kills it. ????
Not only did Robert take the time to sit down with me and modify the image by hand to make sure it was exactly what I wanted…the shop was very clean, professional, and the experience was not rushed at all. I got this tattoo while on the east coast for holiday break and am extremely satisfied. Robert and his wife are amazing and down to earth people. Thank y’all!
Highly recommend.
I’ve been seeing Rob for nearly 14 years now for all of my tattoo work - I’ve watched him grow personally and professionally and he is not only one of the most talented artists I know, he is an incredible human. Each and every piece I have comes with the memories of being in the shop and the great time had while getting it, I cannot express enough how comfortable Rob makes the shop feel.
Over the years, Rob now tattoos my husband, my dad, my brother and various friends of mine because I truly believe in the quality of his work, his integrity and he’s overall just a great person to be around!
If you’re looking for a tattoo artist with amazing work, a great personality, a great atmosphere and a great guy all around - Carney’s is perfect for you!
Rob does the best work in the area. I’ve gotten all of my tattoos done here and will continue to come back. Super clean environment. He just did my leg piece and it looks phenomenal. Recommend 11/10
I have hesitated to post this review for months. As a business professional myself, I try to be understanding that people have bad days and deserve grace. However, this has been sitting on my heart for months and I want to share so maybe someone else might avoid their time and energy being wasted.
Here’s what happened: I met with the owner, Rob Williams, to discuss another artist who I had a challenge with regarding their last minute cancellation and refusal to refund my deposit. At first he seemed to really care about the integrity of his shop and said he wanted to “make it right.” I will say that he was a bit cocky during our meeting, pulling $100 out of his pocket and handing it to me, saying it was nothing to him. Regardless of personality differences, I was appreciative of the refund and liked his artwork so I kept an open mind to him wanting to do the work himself that I was previously scheduled to have done with the other artist (who is no longer at the shop, btw.) We discussed my ideas and he was happy to schedule me for a lengthy appointment. I asked if I could give him the $100 cash back for deposit, and he stated that no deposit was necessary. A few weeks later, I arrived bright and early at 9a for our re-scheduled session to find an empty and closed shop. I waited 15 minutes, text him, with no response. He completely ghosted me and then chose to not communicate afterward.
Between both appointments, consultation and drive time, I essentially lost over 12 hours of my life to two extremely unprofessional artists. I guess the only consolation is that I did end up receiving my original deposit back.
If sincere professionalism and communication are important qualities in an artist, you might explore the many other brilliant and professional tattoo artists in the Dayton area.
