Best WLM Reviews
Carmines Italian Restaurant is very good for being in a mall type area. The portions feed 3-4 people, so the prices are a little higher than usual. We sat with a group, we ordered a total of 10 plates to share, then divided up the total by each person. Our bill was well over $400, but once divided out, we only paid $32 a person. Our waiter, Johnathon, was great. He gave us suggestions and gave us great advice. He and the crew were great!
We came across this restaurant as we were looking for some Italian food that was close to our hotel (Caesar’s) and found this fit the bill! It’s more of a casual, family style resteraunt and it’s cozy and clean! The service was truly extraordinary and I wish I had our waiter’s name but he really went the extra mile to ensure every need has been met! We ordered the Ceasar salad (anchovy dressing was alittle much for some) and 3 pasta dishes to share (cheese ravioli was good but we didn’t enjoy it with the meat sauce, penne alla vodka was okay and chicken parm was moist)! The portions were family-sized and overall it was very affordable!
I usually come to this restaurant every 1st day that I come to Las Vegas. The place is well designed giving off fine dining vibes. The food comes in very large portions and probably recommended that you dine with someone. Food is very good here and we had to order a few dishes since there’s five of us.
Calamari is one of my favorites since it’s very juicy and the crispiness of it is alright. Also love the choices of bread that they gave us. The waiters and waitresses are very nice to us and food could be a while to prepare, but that’s understandable.
I also like the design of the billboard menu leaving up hanging along with old pictures, which reminds me of Buca di Beppo since they do that. Looking forward to other dishes soon!
Not very flavourful from the pasta to the meatballs. The flavour profile simply doesn’t have enough compliment and contrast. The margaritas tasted like they were made using lemonade packets. The lasagna was pretty good though!
A great place to go with friends/family. It is FAMILY style and the portions are large. If you want small bites or dining for 1 or 2, this is not your jam.
It's also noisy and ALWAYS busy.
However if you are ok with the above, you'll probably like Carmines. The food is delicious and there's no shortage of it lol. I've been there twice with large groups and no one left hungry. They even have a few vegetarian selections which are very tasty as well!
The Porterhouse is excellent, the stuffed mushrooms rock and the traditional selections like the lasagna, eggplant parm (amazing!), Chicken Parm (my fave!), and their veggie pasta were all delicious.
The ambiance is kinda nice too. It has a nice italian-esque family restaurant vibe to it. Nice details, great bar and the screens with menu's were a nice touch. At first they threw me off but when you sit down and there's a lot going on, conversations with your people, sometimes table space is at a premium, the screens actually serve a great purpose.
If your in Vegas, especially the Caesar's area, give it a shot with your friends. I think you'll like it!
This is our second time to dine at one the chain locations restaurant. We absolutely enjoy the food, staff and restaurant ambiance. The family style orders are perfect! We ordered one appetizer, the Carmine Salad (which is a must try) and two main dishes for a family of 6. I definitely had to go boxes but very much enjoyed the hospitality from the entire Carmine's team. Hands down the best service in the Las Vegas area. Can't wait to dine here in the future.
Carmine’s is our councils choice of a celebratory venue. It is spacious and serves up libations and good food. Engaging for a party of two and perfect for dozens if not more. Family style cuisine is the perfect way to get everyone talking. Always looking forward to the experience here.
I have been to a few different Carmines and my favorite would have to be the Washington DC location. This place is so so good and I love to try different things on the menu. This event was for my work and I was so glad Carmines hosted us. From a party of 200, all tables were served on time together and I was able to eat from the platters served and as always, the chicken Parmesan was still my favorite!
Until next time carmines.
