Best WLM Reviews

I never write reviews really because I’m a very understanding person because no one is perfect but I became physically sick from the food I got from here. This was absolutely disgusting and ruined my night. I ordered a calzone from their “calzone empire” on door dash and it was completely raw dough through out the whole calzone and disgustingly squishy on the inside and I didn’t notice till I took a few bites. Oh and they also put oregano on cheese fries and ruined them?!!?? Had a horrible experience it was disgusting and my stomach has been hurting since I ate it an hour ago. Ended up throwing up. And I almost served it to my child. I’m very disappointed
Hmmm this is one those hard reviews to write. We stopped in here while running errands. Walking in the atmosphere wasn't the greatest. Was dark in the eating area. The main light area was mainly at the front counter and they deserved the spot light for sure. The family that runs this place def care and have amazing customer service. We order our pizza and cheese fries and grab our sodas. They mainly have two liters and can soda. Which is fine. Now the inside maybe little out dated but def the surround windows and looking out at the colebrook railroad is really fun. And it seems to help bring in patrons to there place.
Now lets get back to main interest of this place the family owners. It was funny to sit and listen to there interactions. It was def enjoyable to listen there back and forth.and cool to see how they work together to make everthing. Our cheese fries came out with that fun cheez wiz on it and the fries had a nice crunch to them. While we enjoyed them out pizza came out soon after. Now the pizza def was a let down for us the sauce was different to us and the toppings didn't have the great taste but crust had a good crunch to it. That being said all together it was $25. So i have to say the price properly matched the food quality and surrounding. Which i wasn't really mad about cause i didn't pay that much for it.
If you want something quick and inexpensive food with a fun family that runs the place. This is def the place for you. I could easily run this place down with complaints but the owners do seem to care and trying to do the best they can with what they got. And i can't put them down because they are trying.
While we were there i heard them talking about how they could bring in more people. I would def suggest them that since the colebrook railroad is in there backyard basically they should run with it on the inside. Also see if they could maybe form a partnership with the railroad group. If someone brings there ticket from the ride and get 10 percent off their meal. Make there place last stop on the railroad adventure. It could be very lucrative for them. Put out brochures for the rail road and sponsor events with them or something. maybe even get a partnership with local movie thearter by doing discounts again if they bring there ticket in from the day. Maybe even provide some food they could sell at there concession stand. I would def push your online presence.
I wish the family the best and hope they work towards many more productive years in the future. Who knows i may pop back in but who knows. You want a food at a great value and good customer service than stop here.
I ordered extra cheese pizza. It was my first time visiting and the staff was so friendly. The pizza was delicious and had the perfect amount of extra cheese. My whole family loved it, and we will definitely be back!
Pizza was good! Crust was cooked just right, little bit of crisp but not hard. There is small indoor seating.
The food is amazing!!! The prices are good and the food portions are large. I got a medium cheesesteak that was a REGULAR size roll full of meat, fries w/ cheese/bacon, and cannolis. I just moved to this area and this is my NEW FAVORITE place!!!!
DAD retired… DONT Go! Kids are running it into the ground. They serve BREADED wings now (commodity from Sysco) trash!! Junk!!! Pizza isn’t as good. Thick dough. The NYC old school
Style is gone. Bring dad back. Pizza shops are a dime a dozen. It’s a shame the kids are ruining it. We want good pizza not big TV menus.
Won’t be back EVER
Have been ordering here for awhile and have to say quality has gone downhill since older owner not there. Cheesesteak no cheese, no onions, cold and hardly enough meat. Don't think we will be back again
I have only ever ordered pizza from this place and wow!, their pizza is so good. No need to ever order extra cheese from this place. They certainly don't skimp on the toppings. My son and I rave about this place. This place could get your waistline and wallet into trouble! Looking for some good pizza in the area? You won't be disappointed ordering from Carmelo's.
