This place is NOT free. We parked there for 1 hour and 15 minutes (went to the arcade) and came back and it was GONE. They had our car towed and it cost over $200 to get it back. Something needs to be changed, because when looking up “free parking in downtown Springfield”, it’s the first thing that pops up. It’s very deceitful and I don’t feel it was fair that we had to pay that because they didn’t change their online information. We parked on the first floor, and there wasn’t a sign until you got to the second floor (which is how we figured out where it was). The guy at the towing place felt bad because apparently this parking garage gets people all the time, because a few years ago it was free. It’s just extremely frustrating that a $20 date night turned into closer to $300.
There is NOWHERE to turn around at the top. I've NEVER seen such a badly designed car park. The elevator doesn't work either.
Usually pretty crowded on the first 4 floors if you're not early but it's free. The elevator always smells like urine, however, even though I see the great workers you hire to keep the place clean going above and beyond keep it clear of trash, one constantly takes the rugs out and mops with pinesole and wipes walls down with cleaner, which is awesome, for about 3 days until some urinates in there overnight...Guess that's just part of it being downtown, unfortunately.
On a scale from "beach at low tide" to "dedicated space protected from the elements" this gets the maximum score of "Parking Garage"
Free parking but you needa do something about the racers who use the 4th floor as a hang out and speedway.
I love this car park because it didn't cost me 20 dollars to park here
Worst parking garage ever. Owner has no idea what they're doing.
One of the most convenient parking places in downtown. Close to the movie theater and restaurants.
