Their grilled fish options are great! I like the lemon pepper salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. The quality is comparable to some dine in restaurants I've been to and the price is significantly cheaper. They've definitely upped their game.
I came to this Captain D’s with my family after a quick Wednesday trip to Michael’s and Dick’s and it was a good experience. I’d do it again. The staff was very nice and had a good sense of humor. It felt like 90% of the other customers were over the age of 65. That’s okay though! All vibes. It was relatively empty and the food was just as good as you’d expect it to be. Its not like an insanely awesome dining experience but I don’t think it needs to be. This Captain D’s knows what it is and follows that to a tee. The dining area seemed super up-to-date as well. I truly don’t understand how more people don’t go here. Good experience. I recommend.
Was perfect for what we wanted. Unfortunately, our food was gone by the time I decided this place needed a review. Was in between Louisville and Gerogetown after hearing Jim Gaffigan. Would stop here anytime now.
Stopped by to treat myself to some fish and shrimp on my birthday, I had forgotten how good Captain Ds food is, extremely reasonable prices also. Got fish, shrimp, hushpuppies, fries and a drink for $8.46 after tax... I wish we had one in Georgetown! Great service, clean and good music on the speakers! Thank you for a great lunch!
About $5 for two 'long' fish sticks about 3/4" square; covered in a good batter. Nice people there but... the first one I ate tasted 'fishier' the more I ate it. The second one was ok and not 'fishy'. I didn't 'get sick' later but it was my primary thought as I was eating the fishy one ????. ???? ⚓
The food was good, as usual. Service was great, food was prepared quickly and brought to our table promptly.
The drive thru had a large number of cars in n it but went very quickly. I ordered my food within 6 minutes which was surprising to me because rarely happens anywhere else. The food I ordered was served hot and delicious. I absolutely love the green beans here. I told them at the mic when ordering food I wanted ketchup and tarter sauce and they were both already put in the bag when they gave it to me I didn't have to ask again. Will be back
Great food, always fresh! On Sunday, we were there after church, and it was packed we got our food fast, and it was good, and we were talking with friends, so it was fine.
